CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Piper POV

Most of the girls in Camp Half-Blood were going to need the help of the Aphrodite cabin to help them. They all met outside of the Aphrodite cabin, waiting for Piper to give the instructions.

"All right, the dance starts at 2, and it's now 11. We have three hours to prepare ourselves. All the Aphrodite children will be in the Demeter cabin, Athena cabin, and the Aphrodite cabin. The guys are at the oposite side. If you need hair and makeup to be done, go to the Demeter cabin. Clothes and shoes, Athena cabin. Last bit of touch ups at the Aphrodite cabin. Now, let's all go!" Piper instucted everyone.

Piper dragged Hazel and Annabeth out of the mob of girls, knowing that the two of them would rather wear their blue faded jeans than puffy skirts.

"Now, I'll be the one in-charge of the two of you. No complaining or whining. I'd be helping you guys out at the Hecate cabin."

She saw Annabeth and Hazel sigh as they trudged their heavy feet towards the Hecate cabin.

It was already a hectic day for Piper. She helped Hazel do her hair, making it neater and straighter. She dabbed a bit of makeup on Hazel's face, and made Hazel wear a green dress. The dress reached her knees, and two spagehetti straps held it up.

"I'm going to look like a clown!" Hazel complained.

"Oh please, Frank would love you." Piper complimented, holding out a pair of flats for Hazel.

Hazel slipped it on, sighing as she walked towards the bed.

"Annabeth Chase! Get your butt in here!" Piper screamed.

Annabeth rolled her eyes as she got out of the wardrobe of a Hecate camper.

"Now, let's make you pretty for Percy!" Piper smiled, Annabeth and Percy were really the best couple she knew.

At first, Piper wanted to straighten Annabeth's blond curls, but Annabeth stopped her, and said that Percy loved her curls. She made Annabeth's curls more like a princess's and she put minimal makeup on her face, hoping that it made her grey eyes stand out more. Annabeth slipped into a blue dress, almost identical to Hazel's, but it was until her midriff, and it was sleeveless.

"Annabeth, too obscene!" Hazel took a pillow to cover her face.

"That's not exactly too obscene, you should see what Drew would wear..." Piper muttered.

Piper decided to wear a pink dress, doing her hair and makeup herself - being a daughter of Aphrodite, it wasn't that hard.

"So, since we have about half an hour to kill, what do you want to do?" Piper asked the two.

"Talk," Hazel replied.

"I have a question... Annabeth, how do you ever say no to Percy?" Piper asked Annabeth.

Annabeth bolted up right at the sound of her boyfriend's name.

"He gives that puppy dog face that I can't - no one can resist!" Hazel agreed.

"Yeah, like a baby seal!" Piper added.

"Simple. Be fierce with him." Annabeth smiled.

Piper thought that it was too hard being fierce with Percy. Okay, so he wasn't the brightest guy, but he could certainly make your knees melt as he plastered his puppy dog face, making his eyes wider, and mouth pout.

"He doesn't go too far asking me for things. So it's fine... and he knows I don't like him begging and giving me that face. Even though it's cute."

After a few more chats, it was close to two. The girls sat on the bed, biting their lips and waiting for their boyfriends to pick them up.
