Jeongin~

"Lee Minji?"

"Here you go, bye!" The girl quickly handed me a box, then ran off.

"Hey, wait..." I went after her on the sidewalk, and gently grasped her arm once I actually had the chance to catch up.

"I'm not Minji..." she trembled while tears flowed down her face. She kept her head down the whole time and I remained speechless. "I'm Jinha, her twin sister."

"Twin sister? Wow, I'm Yang Jeongin- nice to meet you!" I gave her a welcoming smile, but she didn't even bother to look up. "Where's Minji?"

"Where's Minji?" Jinha took a few steps closer to me, while emitting this type of cold aura- definitely full of angst and hatred. "Minji is dead. She's been long gone."

I ran up to my room and bawled my heart out. It's usual that someone mistaken's me as her- but even here? There's literally no more place for me to feel at ease.

Knock*

"What's up?" Felix asked as he barged into my room, basically inviting himself in. Brothers could be very bothersome and pathetic at times.

"The neighbour knows Minji... he mistaken me as her. Fucking Yang Jeongin." I muttered under my breath.

"Yang Jeongin? Wow, I've always wondered what happened to that kid. Does he seem okay now?" My brother suddenly bombarded me with questions.

"What? You know him too!?" I tilted my head in complete confusion. Am I really just clueless? Did I seriously lose some braincells?

"Um, you were in the same class as him for like three years straight- you don't remember?" Felix judged me. I'm really not that observant of my surroundings... "Well, it's kind of understandable that you didn't know him much."

"Who is he?" I scratched the back of my head, wanting to remember.

"He was that kid who was always in and out of the hospital. Guy had it rough- he technically lived in the hospital. I'm not sure what his symptoms were... but he got a nephrectomy during fifth grade."

"So you mean... he only has one kidney?" My eyes widened in surprise.

"Yup." Felix nodded.

"Wow, that's quite amazing. He looked perfectly normal to me." I tried to recall in my head how Jeongin looked like. He seems really kind- I must have left a bad  'first' impression, dammit.

"I should befriend him. I bet we'll all go to the same school." Felix fell back on my bed and closed his eyes.

Yang Jeongin.

I walked inside the classroom, greeting everyone with a warm smile. I tend to get along with all my classmates very well, they seem to really like my presence.

The girl next door suddenly came into my class, which left everyone in complete awe. Most of the guys had their mouths hanged open, while the girls just stared at her- speechless.

No joke, she is absolutely gorgeous. It's obvious that she didn't put makeup on, nor did she try. Jinha's really just naturally beautiful.

"Jinha!" I waved at her, but she avoided me immediately. "There's a vacant seat right here..."

Even though she ignored me earlier, she still resulted in sitting down beside me.

Everyone kept on chatting about her beaming visuals, and how the dudes want her number- and something about us dating? No way, I don't even know this girl.

"Hey, what's your name? Where are you from? Can I get your number?" This pretty boy in class asked her, and the girls immediately began to whine in utter jealousy.

Jinha didn't respond. She focused on taking out the supplies from her backpack, and perfectly laying them out on the wooden desk. It really is her personality to ignore people.

"Playing hard to get?" The boy grabbed her hand, and that's when I've had enough.

"Or maybe she's just not interested?" I stood up and yanked his arm away from her. The whole class went silent, until only the slight tranquil sounds could be heard. "Stop messing with her! I know your ways."

He let out a mischievous chuckle, before glaring at me. Despite the fact that I totally disowned him, he went back to his usual spot and still continued to stare at Jinha. Not just her face, but mostly her chest- he even made inappropriate gestures and comments to his friends.

Jinha remained unbothered, while me on the other hand- I really wanted to beat him up. She must be feeling extremely uncomfortable, but just keeping quiet.

"Thank you." She lightly smiled at me. Wow, that's a first.

There's something about Jinha that drives me in. I don't know whether it's the fact that she's mysterious, or because she resembles my first love.

Lee Jinha.
