"Hold on, Jeongin. You can do it!" I encouraged him before sending him inside the operation room.
Jeongin decided to just go with the surgery, even though there's only a small percentage that it'll come out well. It was almost impossible to find a matching donor, but we managed to get one.
Junkyu offered to donate his kidney to Jeongin. It really was quite unexpected.
"Kim Junkyu's resting in his room. You can go visit him now." One of the nurses led me upstairs.
Junkyu had his surgery yesterday, and was still quite fazed when I first saw him. They moved him into a different room, and is currently seeking medical care in case too much pain is evident once the anesthesia starts to fade away.
"Junkyu, how are you?" I asked him once I got into the room.
"I'm fine. The wound just hurts a bit when I move," he looked up and smiled at me. "Jeongin's in surgery now. How are you?"
"I'm trying to keep myself calm, but I'm so nervous. Hopefully, everything goes well..." I took a couple of breaths in. "By the way, why did you do that? You never told me the reason."
"Does there always have to be a reason? Just think of it as a gesture of kindness." Junkyu winked. Sometimes, I can't even grasp the difference between his sarcasm and what's serious anymore.
"Alright, you're so nice." I patted his head and he blushed.
"Well... honestly?" He stared at me and I nodded. "I did it for you. I knew that your pain would only disappear once Jeongin feels well. You know how much I like you, right? So I want to see you be happy... even if it isn't with me."

*Flashback*
"No one really knows what actual pain is until they experience what it's like to die. But what hurts more that dying is seeing your love one dead, because it's often what drives people to insanity." Jinha explained to me while looking far off. She built up courage to come visit the beach with me, even though it's one of her greatest fears.
"I agree. There was a time where I was extremely ill, and my parents thought I was going to die. While I was being defibrillated near cardiac arrest, I heard the tears of my parents. The pain was too much, but I couldn't imagine how it'd be like for my family is they lost me. I wanted to live so badly, and I managed to get a second chance in life."
"If I cry, will you live for me? I think my sister didn't hear the drops of my tears because the ocean was too loud."
"If I leave, I'll be with your sister. If I stay, I'll be with you." I suddenly came to realize.
"Well, who you want to be with?"
"You."

"Oh yeah! Jeongin finished editing the documentary." Jinha clapped as she opened the video on her laptop. They have both been working so hard on it lately, I could really tell how much time they've put into it.
"Let's watch it while we wait for him to get out of surgery." I suggested and she agreed. Apparently, she has never watched it too.
It started off with them fooling around, all awkwardly. I also appeared in the video a couple of times, where Jeongin was mostly annoyed at me. The first few minutes were all happy and fun, until Jeongin suddenly started feeling pain again.
