Emily's POV
Oregon, home of the Oregon ducks. To be more exact we were in Portland, Oregon. While I was driving I had Allie look up places we could stop at as in hotels or attractions. We decided to stay at a hotel, nothing too fancy a room that wouldn't cost much. There was only one bed apparently so we were going to have to share. We checked into the room taking our important stuff inside to lock in the safe that's inside the closets along with a few bags.
"I'm starving," I whined, laying face first on the bed holding my stomach.
"Then get up and we'll go find a pizza place or something," Allie said, I could hear the keys spinning around as she waited impatiently.
"I'M IN." I yelled, jumping off the bed and towards the door. We both laughed, heading down to the lobby and out to the van.
As Allie drove I looked up a local pizzeria and gave her the directions. It wasn't easy getting around in Portland, especially since it was time everyone was getting off work.
After being stopped at millions of traffic lights, we made it to the pizza place.
"What kind of pizza are we getting?" I asked, jumping with excitement as we walked inside looking for a place to sit.
"Pepperoni and extra cheese?" Allie questioned. We took a seat off to the side but by a window so we could look out at the scenery.
"DUUH." I squealed. When the waitress came over we ordered our drinks and the pizza also.
"Oooh Emily, cute boy ten o'clock," Allie giggled, staring over my shoulder.
I turned around and gave a look to the boy she was looking at. He was pretty cute, with his dark glasses on and snapback. "I agree, he is pretty cute." I smirked, turning back around.
Allie kept staring, I had to snap my fingers in front of her face to get her to stop before it became obvious. "Stop staring, you look like a love sick puppy,"
She shook her head an laughed. "It's not like we're ever gonna see him again, I'll stare and make glances all I want,"
"You're so boy obsessed,"
"Am not! If anyone's boy obsessed it's you miss I 'talk about Wesley Stromberg twenty four-seven,'" She retorted back with a bright smile.
"Do not!" I giggled shaking my head in disagreement. Our drinks arrived along with our pizza, quicker than I expected but I liked it.
We are our pizza, chit-chating back and forth like typical. Probably make fools of ourselves with our large hand gestures but that was normal for us. If we were going to be here we weren't going to change our personalities for these people.
Allie whined, pouting her lip with a sigh. "What's so wrong love bug?" I joked with a laugh.
"Pretty boy is leaving," she have me an eye roll, sighing again.
"You'll see more pretty boys, don't worry." We laughed as she watched him walk out the door before looking away.
"Goodbye cute boy." I shook my head. We finished our pizza then paid our bill, splitting it fifty-fifty. I had to say, this pizzeria was better than the one back home in Seattle.
As we headed out to the car, I noticed a white piece of paper. Allie must have noticed it too because she was already at the van, taking it out from under the windshield wiper.
"OH MY GOD EMILY!" she squealed, waving the paper around."
"Whaaat?" I asked taking the paper from her hands.
"IT WAS HIM!" I read the note aloud, smiling widely.
"'It's not very nice to stare - K'" With a heart added at the end. She was jumping up and down before snatching the note from my grasp.
"Dear god, you're not going to frame it are you?" She giggled, getting in the car. I got in the car also starting the engine.
"I'm not that obsessive!" She smirked. "why couldn't he of put his full name though."
"Because something's are good to be left as mysteries,"
"Yeah yeah, don't pull my quotes on me." We laughed as started to drive away, discussing our plans for later today.
