Allie's POV

It was early in the morning, earlier than I really wanted to be up honestly. I didn't get a choice though, Emily forced me out of bed, not even telling me why I had to get up. I didn't care, I laid sprawled out on the couch, still in my baggy pants and shirt, and my hair probably looking like I stuck a pin in a light socket. What was the point of getting dressed if I had no idea why I was even up at five am?

"Are you seriously just going to lay around like that?" I heard Emily's voice beside me.

"God yes if I'm not getting explanations!" I wasn't aggravated, just tired, alright maybe a little aggravated but who wouldn't?

"Fine, but I need you to help with something in hallway closet, I can't get something out," Asked Emily.

I sighed and rolled off the couch. I actually mean I rolled off the couch and laid on the floor for a few seconds before actually getting up, shuffling my way towards Emily.

"What is it?" I asked with a yawn.

"It a bin," she said with a straight face, grabbing a hold of my wrist and dragging me towards the hall way.

"Or is it seven minutes in heaven?" I joked.

She punched my arm, frowning at me. It may have been five am but to Emily, no it was twelve in the afternoon and she was dressed up like she was ready to go out. "No stupid, this is an important bin that couldn't wait till noon because my aunt will be home at eight all day."

I nodded and rolled my eyes. She opened the closet that wasn't a small closet, it was sorta deep but the ceiling leaned down because it was under the stairs.

"Where's the bin?" I asked, stepping closer to get a better look.

"Right there," Emily said, pointing towards the back. I started to lean in, walking slowly towards the back when she suddenly pushed me in, slamming the door shut and the click of the lock went off.

"EMILY WHAT THE HECK?" I yelled, turning around to bang on the door.

"You'll see it's for good!" I didn't have to see her to know that she was smiling with that sentence. I wasn't too happy about being shoved in a closet. Why the hell would I be shoved in a closet? I couldn't think of a reason, but I knew that she wasn't going to set the house on fire or something.

Of course, this closet had a light, but what sucked was that the string to turn it on was cut short and I couldn't reach it, I only knew that from putting stuff away in here before. I didn't have my phone either, so I couldn't use the flashlight on it.

I was stuck in a closet, unable to get out. I couldn't do anything except for sit or stand, or maybe pace back in forth in a very very sort distance.

What felt like a long time started to fade away when I heard voices from somewhere in the house, one sounded a bit like Emily's.

"Emily, let me out of the damn closet!" I yelled again, banging on the door rapidly.

The click of shoes came down the hallway, followed by a light tap on the door. "Shh, Allie be quiet for a few minutes!"

Be quiet? What is like a drug deal going on!

I heard her walk away, leaving me in the closet once more. The voices became quiet and the click of shoes came back through the hall way. Not just one, there sounded like there was more than one person.

The door to the closet began to open, and I was ready to run out, but when I was about to, someone else was pushed in. They fell into me, causing me to fall back on the floor with them laying on top of me and the door shutting again.

"What the heck, get off!" I said, trying to push who ever was on me off.

"Allie?" I trying to push them off, feeling full embarrassment wash over me.

"Keaton?"

"Why are you in the closet?" I finally understood why I was pushed into the closet, and why he was also. I should have known.

"I could ask you the same thing, but can you please get off?"

"Oh um yeah," the weight on top of me released, letting myself get up also, bumping into him.

"There's literally no room in this place," I gave a nervous laugh, pressing myself against the wall as much as I could to create space. I felt panicky, it was fine when it was just be in here but now two of us? There was not enough space for that.

"Not really, but do you know why we're in here?" He asked, I could feel him stepping closer to me.

My breath hitched, and became unsteady beats. I've never felt nervous around anyone like this, not even him. "No I don't, do you?" I lied through my teeth, trying to sound nonchalant.

His hand brush against my cheek and he was closer to my face, his breath against me. "I have an idea as to why."

That was it, my heart was beating fast, my hands shaking, and he closed the space and kissed me. It was short and sweet, but it was amazing, I didn't want it to end but it did. He pressed his forehead against mine and we both began to laugh.

"Looks like their sneaky plan worked," I grinned, full of warmth and happiness.

"Looks like I can finally ask this and not be nervous but, would you like to go on a date with me?"

I could have jumped up and down with excitement at that point but I tried to contain it which, as we all know, fails each time.

"I'd love to," I said, and as I did, hoots and hollers erupted from outside the door. I shook my head and the door opened and I was pulled out by a small hand which belonged to Emily.

"My child is growing up!" She squealed, pulling me into a hug.

"Oh jeez I'm your child now?" I laughed giving her a hug back. From the corner of my eye I could see Wesley giving his brother a high five but getting a light punch in the arm in return, but he had a smile on his face.

"If you ever lock me in a closet again I'll find a way to burn all your music," She gasped and I laughed shaking my head.

"So is that a new style or something that I need to get on?" Wesley asked, referring to my outfit and probably my hair.

"Yeah, it's Chanel, you like?" I gave a pose and laughed.

"You still look pretty cute," I blushed at Keaton's compliment, still smiling like crazy.

Yeah I may have been waken up at five in the morning but I guess you can say it was sort of worth it. I guess what they say is right sometimes, the best things happen early in the morning.
