Allie's POV
Rule number one, when Emily says 'don't take me to a haunted house' you don't take her to a haunted house.
When we were choosing where to go, I found a haunted attraction called 'Haunting at 13' and didn't tell Emily it was haunted.
A big mistake on my part. The attraction was an hour long and you couldn't leave unless you paid twenty dollars to get out. WHICH WE WERE NOT GOING TO DO.
When we entered the building the creepy music was playing silently in the background and the doors slammed shut. It scared the both of us which made us jump into each other's arms, getting snickers from the people around us.
Fog became to roll down the stairs and the chandelier was swinging. Of course we couldn't wait by the door all day, it was either run around the house and find the exit they said is hidden, or be chased.
We weren't in the mood to be chased so we ran down the hall, swinging open doors and checking windows. We found a door that lead to the basement which we, being stupid, went down into.
Rule number two, NEVER go to the basement in a haunted attraction. The door once again shut behind us, and when we tried to open it, it wouldn't open.
"Why did you take me to a haunted house!" Emily yelled, frantically pounding on the door.
"I thought you'd like it!" I yelled back, looking around the room for another exit. The room looked like a operation room, like the basement in the first season of 'American Horror Story.'
"I HATE HAUNTED HOUSES!" She quit pounding on the door, joining me in the search for another exit.
As we looked around the lights in the basement shut off, causing Emily to freak out again swinging her arm around which connected with my face.
"OW OH GOD EMILY!" I yelped, holding my face where she elbowed me. She hit me right below my eye on the bone.
"Sorry!" She apologized, wrapping her arms around me. The lights came back on but they were flickering.
I checked my phone to look and see how much time we had until this madness ended. Ten minutes. We could survive ten minutes, right?
We heard the basement door squeak open and light flowing down the stairs. Frantic, we ran up the stairs, pushing passed who ever it was to get out. I turned around to look at who we pushed passed to see it was a guy with a chainsaw.
I screamed, grabbing Emily's hand telling her to run faster. I had no clue to where we were running to but we ran all around the house for the last ten minutes until the flood lights turned on and a mans booming voice came in through the speakers telling us our time was up.
We ran out of there, not even looking back until we reached our car hurrying inside with deep breathes filling the air.
"I hate you." Emily said between breathes, waving her hand in front of her face for air.
"Never again." I said, turning the car on and the air conditioning on full blast.
"Oh Allie your eye!" She leaned over the counsel, running her finger over the bone under my eye. I let out a squeal before pulling the sunviser down to look at what she was talking about.
As I looked in the mirror, I saw a purple and blue bruise along my cheek-bone. I let out a sigh and shrugged.
"Hey that's what I get for taking you somewhere you didn't want to go," She laughed a little punching my arm softly.
"I swear you ever do that again, I'll give you even more bruises!"
"As in hickeys?" We both laughed, smiling at each other.
"Hickeys with my fist, not my lips." She kept laughing, turning the radio on.
"Maybe one day!" I smiled, looking back at the haunted attraction. It looked like an old deserted house some kids decided to make look scary, but yet it's one of the most biggest attractions here in Portland Oregon. God I can't wait for L.A, fame and fortune baby!
