Chapter Seven: Wait Where's Max??

The next morning I woke up and I got no call or texts from Max which that is very not normal for him to do. So I ran downstairs and my dad saw me ran "WOAH WOAH! Miley why are you running in the house?" He asked. "Have you seen or spoke to Max?" I asked him back. "Not since he was over here and I was yelling remember?" I shook my head. "Yeah I know" I said. "Why what's up Miley? Why you asked?" I had to think for a minute "I am just wondering dad" then I ran back up stairs. I tried calling him and no answer even texting him and still no answer. I went over to his house and his mom answered the door "Hello there you must be Miley" she said. "Yep that's me" I said back. "Nice to meet you I'm Max's mom name Katie" she said. "Have you seen Max?" I asked. "No I haven't, not since this morning he got up and eat his breakfast wand went out the door somewhere" she said. "Okay, that's very odd of him to do that" I said. "It is, would you like to come in Miley?" She asked. "No I'm fine but thanks for the offer" I answered. "Okay well it was very nice meeting you Miley, if you need anything you can just knock on the door to come in" she told me. 

I was like okay then, so I walked back to my house and my dad was still where he was and I ran upstairs. I am freaking out I still don't know where Max is. Where could he be? I called Selena. "Hey Miley, what's up?" she asked when she picked up the phone. "Selena I am freaking out I don't know where Max is!" I said. "OMG are you serious?" she asked. "Yeah I am serious, he's not at home, he didn't text me this morning like he usually does" I said. "Oh wow" she said. "I might drive some places just to find him" I told her. "Yeah I would" she agreed. "Okay I am actually gonna do that" I said. "Okay Miley have fun!" she said. 

Then I hanged up when I said "Okay I will let you know what I know more" then I said bye. And I ran down stairs and grabbed my car keys and I went out the door my dad was to busy distracted with his TV and a beer in his hands. And so when I head to my car I unlock it and head inside and start the engine. So I drove off, I found some spots that he usually hangs at and no where to be found non of the people have seen him today. So instead at a restaurant I eat there for lunch. "I hope you find Max, there Miley" the chef said to me as I walked out the door. So I hopped back in my car and drove off once I got it to start. 

Oh boy where can he be? I thought, he is gotta be here somewhere. Then my dad called me "Hey dad" I said "Hey Miley, where are you?" he asked. "I'm still trying to find Max" I answered. "Still?" he asked again. "Yea still dad" I said. "It's almost time call it quits soon though Miley" he told me. "Yeah true I guess I will search more tomorrow" I said. "That's the spirit Miley" he said. "Okay I am on my way home dad" I told him. "Alright sounds good" he said "Alright dad bye" as I hanged up on him. Then I drove him into the garage and turn off the engine and locked doors, shut the garage door with the button and head in the house. "Hey Miley" dad said as I got in the house. "Hey dad" I said back. "No luck huh?" He asked. "Nope I am worried as ever dad I haven't been this worried in a long time" I said. "Oh yeah I remember the last time you haven't been worried, so yea it has been along time ago" he said. "Yeah but I am going to eat then go to my room for the rest of the day or night since it is night time now" I said. And I did just that I eat supper and I went to bed, then I fell asleep 

The next morning I got up and I still got no call or text from Max it's day two of looking for him I am like oh great here we go again. I eat breakfast and got dressed "Well Miley, it's another day of finding Max huh, what's so great about him Miley?" dad asked. "He makes me really happy dad okay, I just want to go find him and I hope he's okay" I said. "Miley--" I cut him off again. "Dad please!" I turned around to look at him. "I--- I have to go!" I said as I head out the door. I turned on the engine and got in my car and before I did that I opened the garage door. So I head out to find Max some more, he has to be somewhere I thought. "MAX!" I shouted out my window when I got into the town. "MAX! WHERE ARE YOU!!" I shouted some more. Omg I am like a little puppy trying to find it's way back home kind of deal since I am trying so hard to find Max. He didn't say he was going to go anywhere, my dad didn't sent him anywhere that I know of. Unless my dad did without telling me. Then I finally met one of Max's best bros "Hey are you shouting for Max?" one of his guys asked. "Yea I am his girlfriend my name is Miley" I introduce myself. "Hello my name is Tyler, I am one of Max's best friends" he said. "Have any of you seen him? Did he say to any of you if he was going anywhere?" I asked. "No he didn't say where he was going and no I didn't see him today or yesterday" Tyler asked. "Hi my name is Danny I am one of his best friends to and I didn't see him today or yesterday ether, no he didn't say where he was going to me ether I am one of his best friends that he usually tells first before Tyler but I don't know at all with him sometimes" I said. "Oh shut up Danny he tells me to first to he tells both of us at the same time on what is up with him or whatever" Tyler said. I just sat there in my car laughing. "Okay then guys, do you want to help me find him or not I mean it's up to you guys" I said. "Nah were good Miley but thanks for the offer" Tyler said. 

Then Danny said "I agree with Tyler" I shook my head oh boy. So I looked and looked every where some more. Until another day ended again, my gosh where in the world can he be??? So once I got home I had to talk to my dad. "Dad, tell me the truth did you hide Max from me?" I asked after supper. "Why would you think I hide Max from you Miley? Of course I did Miley I am not that stupid I knew all along you would search him non stop" he said. "WHAT?! HOW COULD YOU! I am gonna find him right away in the morning again" dad shook his head. "Oh Miley, don't worry about Max, I think you should go hang out with your friends down here, just clear your mind Miley, he's fine and you knew that" he said. "Alright, I might as well quit looking after tomorrow" dad shook his head some more. "No Miley that's not what I meant" he said. So I got all jumpy and head up to my bedroom for the rest of the night and I crawled into bed, charged my phone again do my routine again and fell asleep
