Duck Hunting or Nothing

Chapter Sixteen: Another week of Duck Hunting week

So the next day my dad was down stairs reading his news paper again. "Hey Miley" dad said as I went down stairs. "Hi dad" I said back. "You ready to go Deer Hunting?" Dad asked. "Yeah I am dad" I answered. "Alright let's go" dad said. Then grabbed my stuff and dad stuff. I put them on the vehicle.

Then he went off "Alright you drive your vehicle and i will drive mine" I looked at him and said "Alright, sounds good" so I grabbed my stuff and went to my vehicle. Then hopped into the front and out I go, my dad went first then I was behind him. I feel bad but then what can I do about Max I thought there's nothing I can do about it

So once I got on my land my dad started unpacking a little. I did the same thing "Hey Miley did you grab the knife?" Dad asked. "Yeah I did its right here" I answered ad I unpacked my stuff to. "Oh thanks Miley" dad said as he walked away to put his stuff on his spot. Then Max started calling me "who's calling you?" Dad asked.

I had to come up with a lie "its Selena" I answered. "Oh okay tell her I said hi" dad said. "I will" I said back. Then I answered "Hello" Max was like "Hi Miley I have every right to call you" oh boy Max here we go again. "Yes I know but..." I said "But what Miley?" Max said. "My dad says Hi Selena" I said so my dad thinks I'm talking to Selena. "Selena?"

Max was confused. "Alright I'll talk to you later Selena" I said. Them I hanged up on Max. Dad looked at me and was like "So how's Selena doing?" Dad asked."She's doing good" I answered. "That's good" dad said back.

Then a few hours went by and we got a few ducks not a whole lot of ducks were our there today. And dad caught his duck. Max is on the other side catching deer. Dad wanted be done by 6:30 tonight so we were out there since 7 this morning so I can see why wants to be done here soon. So then a few hours went by and we were packing to head back home then after packing we head back home I'm like I for sure had fun I thought
