Chapter Four: Another week of Hunting

My phone kept ringing and ringing and ringing. It was my dad calling. "Hello" i said with my voice cracked because i just got up. "Oh did i wake you Miley?" i giggled. "No don't be silly i was up then i decided to take a nap dad" he laughed. "Well i will be home soon Miley, is the place cleaned?" he asked. Oh boy I thought "yeah" I answered. Dad laughed "Well okay I am not that far from home I will be home about noon I should say" he said. I thought for a minute. "Okay, sounds good dad" I said to him. "Okay Miley I am gonna go, love you" then I said "Okay dad love you to" then I clicked end button. Well now I thought, so I got up and got dress and comb my hair. And went down stairs to make myself some breakfast, and once I got done I didn't know what else to do. Then I saw Max outside or should I say my BOYFRIEND Max I got the chills when I thought that. Because it's weird on how he came at the front door and asked me out. Then my phone started to ring all of sudden. It was Selena! "Hey Selena" I said as I answered. "Hey Miley, if you get a texts or calls from William ignore it because I told him that you and I are done with him" I thought to myself okay? "Oh Selena, what to do with you?" I asked. "I don't know actually, good question" I giggled. "Yeah, I am teasing and I wont answer at all of his calls or texts because he was always pushy with me" then Selena was silence again until "Okay Miley, thought I should let you know because he is one of those guys who needs a girlfriend kind of guy and I don't think you deserve a guy like that. I am gonna go Miley so talk to you later" then we both said bye. Well that is something I thought at least she gave me ahead of time if he ever called me or texted me. And I swear I hope Max doesn't come over or something before or after my dad comes home because that will be bad! I don't know why my dad has to be against Deer Hunters. I mean I understand that they are not us as Duck Hunters but they are some of kind of hunters though. I mean I also understand that of what happened in the past with Max but that was a long time ago in the news paper it says in 2012 and now it's 2018 for crying out loud! I should be able to have him over because I am not daddy's little girl anymore. So I actually don't care if he comes over before or after dad comes home. I don't know I should care but then again I kind of don't. Maybe it's best not to have dad know yet that me and Max are dating. Not until it's time to tell that kind of thing. Well I thought the time was 8:30 and when dad called me it was 7:50 so I turned my head towards the window and Max was out there doing something so I just smiled even though he can't see me smiling which that's okay I guess.

One hour later it was 10:50 and Max was staring at my house I honestly don't know why. Then he decides to come over and I ran to the door before he even made to the door. "Hey Miley" he says. "Hey what's up?" I asked. "I was wondering if you maybe want to do something with me, when is your dad coming back?" I had to stare into blank space for a minute. "Um not until noon or so" I said. Max had to think for a minute "Oh okay, well it's up to you if you want to I mean you don't have to" Max said. "Oh okay, I am gonna try to make sure my dad doesn't see you with me, because he is that over protective" Max had his face from a smirk to a sad face. "Don't tell me it's because of what happen in the past with me?" Max asked. "pretty much" I had to be honest. "OMG if I have to talk to him I'm willing to, he needs to forgive what happens in the past" I nod my head in a agreement. "Yea, because he can't get over with my mom in the divorce he still wants to be with her, he isn't filling any divorce papers that my mom sends him in the mail" Max face went from sad to shock. "Oh wow!" I laughed. "Yea, crazy right?" I asked. "Yeah, well your welcome to swing by if you want to" I thought for a minute it's not even noon yet "How about we spend time together for a little bit before he comes?" Max was smiling when I said that. "That sounds nice Miley, I would like that" then I smiled. So I grabbed my shoes and sweatshirt, I was out the door. Max and I walked and we would take turns talking and laughing it was fun, I am glad Selena told me that William was trying to get a hold of me and he would not stop. But I didn't let that bother me because I was having so much fun with Max. I don't know why my dad is so over protective Max is great. I actually don't care what anyone thinks. "So, Miley" he said. "Yeah?" he had to think for a minute. "wait- what time is it?" I looked at the time it was noon and I haven't heard anything from my dad. "12:10pm" I said. "Oh wow, and you still haven't hear anything from your own dad?" he giggled a little. I did the same thing "Yea he is always busy being a firefighter same with my mom but as a nurse though" Max was like wow kind of face that I saw. "Wow, I can't imagine what you went thru and with that Selena is now nice to you what in the world!" I laughed. "Yea, I don't get her at all" then he turned around and face me. "I love you so much Miley, you are a great girl I am happy I asked you out last night" I smiled and he had his nose right on top of mine. "I love you" he said. Then he started to kiss me. And I did the same back. We kissed for a while "And I love you" I said back to him. Then we stopped kissing. He grabbed my hand "I will see you later then huh? When your dad is sleeping I guess" I laughed. "Sure I don't mind you being over in my room tonight" then he walked me to the door. "Okay, Miley" then gave me another kiss on the lips. "I love you babe, see you tonight" I smiled. "I love you baby, I will see you tonight as well" then he walked down the steps and left. And I shut the door behind me. OMG! I thought. My dad hasn't came yet but then speak of the devil LOL. "Hey dad where are you?" It was 5:00pm and no dad yet. "Miley I will be home tomorrow" And I thought to myself okay. "Okay dad that's fine" I told him. "You don't mind being on your own huh?" he asked. "No I don't mind it at all" I said. "Oh okay Miley that's great that your flexible, I wish some people are like that" I giggled. "Oh okay, Miley well I will talk to you tomorrow, love you" he said. "Love you to" then I clicked the end button again. Then when I was done making supper and eating it, I locked all windows and all doors, and I ran up to my room and I unlocked my window and there was Max. He climbed in "Hey beautiful" then he kissed me. "Hey" then he looked at me. "You okay?" I looked at him and climbed into bed he joined. "No, I was actually hoping my dad would be home but he's not, not until tomorrow" I said it in a sad voice. "Oh I am sorry babe, to hear that" I cuddle up with him. "I cant be gone long or my parents would freak if they knew I wasn't home" I smacked him. "Then why are you here?" I asked. "Just to see you and tell you good night" I smiled. "Okay" then he climbed out of my bed. "Okay I got to go babe, I got a tracking app of how close my dad is to home and he is about to be home" then he covered me in a blanket and kissed me on the forehead. "Okay I love you and night my beautiful princess" then he climbed out of my window and shut my window and left. I went out of my bed and opened my window just to watch him go home. He ran to his house just 5 seconds before his dad showed up wow just right on time. So I closed my window and locked it and craw right back into bed and it was 10:00pm and I felt sleepy and I was out like a bug.
