Chapter Nineteen: I get to see Max Yay!

Dad was long gone the next morning. And Max was outside doing yard work again. So I eat breakfast and then Max knocked at the door. "Morning Max" I said as I answer the door. Morning Miley" Max said back. "What's up?" I asked. "Can I come in?" Max asked back. "Sure" I answered. "What do you want to do today Miley?" Max asked.

I thought for a minute "I don't know actually" I said. "Oh we can go to Walmart and get a few things because I want to treat you tonight" Max said. "What do you mean by that?" I asked. "I'm taking you out on a date tonight since your dad won't be back til really late tonight" Max answered. "I know you want to Max but-" he cut me off "no butts!" Max shouted

I rolled my eyes. "And no rolling your eyes ether" Max also said. "Where to then?" I asked. "That's a surprise" Max answered. "Okay then surprise me as a driver"  I told him he laughed. "alright" Max said. Well yay I get to see Max I thought. "Alright let's go then shall we?" Max asked. Then I head out the door with him behind me. I drove out of the drive way and out I went. "So what else has your dad been up to?" Max asked.

I took a minute to think "not a whole lot just been working a lot as a firefighter" I answered "oh that must be a lot of work" Max said. "Yeah it's not easy as you think" I said back. As we get to walmart we got what we wanted and head out "that was quick" Max comment. "Yeah I don't need much" I told him. Then on the way to somewhere he needed to go to I guess while we were in town

Then he actually took me to out to eat at this fancy restaurant we have in town. "Well what do you think?" Max asked. "I didn't know you were rich?" I asked back. "In my family is sort of is" Max answered. Then I chuckled. So he took me out and that was it for the night my dad caught three ducks tonight and I cut them up and I'm making them for supper and my dad was so tired to visit tonight so he went to bed.
