Chapter Six: I am grounded??? What???

Well I woke up the next morning and my dad wanted me down stairs so I went down stairs and there was my dad. "Hey dad" I said as I got down there. "Hey Miley there's something I want to talk to you about" he said oh boy I thought. "Yeah what is it dad?" I asked. "I should of never yelled at you Miley, but I have thought about it, and I'm gonna ground you" wait what? I am grounded?? What? How? "Why dad?" I asked. "Because I did tell you hat Max isn't safe for you at all" he said. "Dad I told you to let go of the past but no you don't listen to me ether" I snapped at him. "Miley--" I cut him off "no Miley me you just don't like the fact I'm happy with him all because your not" I told him. Dads face went to completely sad. I spoke the truth like I always do and how mom taught me to do that. She would always say "always tell the truth never a lie" I had my arms crossed. "Miley please go back to your room" he finally said. Then I got up like I'm mad and walked off. Like why would he ground me for? It doesn't make any sense. Then there was Max at my window. And I opened it "what are you doing here?" I asked. "How did your dad take it?" He asked "not well I'm grounded" I told him. "For how long are you grounded?" He asked again. "I don't know yet" I answered. "He still thinks I'm not safe huh?" He asked more.

"No he still doesn't think that you are and I'm sad that he's not happy, but he should be happy seeing me happy" I said. "I'm sorry to hear that babe" he said as he sat down beside me. "You know I will always be right beside you even though your grounded" he told me. "Well gee thanks baby that means a lot to me" I said. Then he aimed for a kiss with me on the lips. We kissed for a little while until "Yeah I suppose I might as well go babe" he said. "Yeah I suppose you should baby" I said. Then he climbed out of my window. And out he went, then I went down stairs and dad was watching TV "Hi Miley" he said. "Hi dad" as I head to the kitchen. "You still mad at me?" he asked. "Maybe" I said. "Oh, well do you want to watch TV with me?" he asked again. "I am fine dad I want to be in my room the whole time" I said. "Miley I don't want to always keep you in your room you need to be out to, it's just that your grounded and cant go out of the house, unless I need you to" he said. "Yeah I know what you mean dad when you grounded me" I said. As I head up with a snack in my hand. "Okay Miley, I will talk to you about lunch soon!" he shouted when I head up the stairs. So once I got in my room Selena is calling me on Facetime

And so I answered it. "Hey Miley!" Selena said "Hey Selena" I said back. "What's wrong you seem down in the blues" she said. "My dad grounded me" I told her. "Oh" she said. And I laughed. "Yeah, so I cant go anywhere but the stay in the house" I said. "All because your dating Max? That's not right at all or fair" she said. "I know right, so now I am just like a prisoner in the house! It's like can my life get any worst" I said. "It cant be that bad Miley, when I am grounded I always find fun things to do in the house" I shook my head. "What? I do" she said. "I was just teasing Selena" I said to her. Then I hear my dad knocking on my door. "Can I come in Miley?" he asked. "I am gonna let you go Selena" I said "Yeah sounds good I hear my mom yelling" she said. then I said bye to her and hanged up and then "Yeah dad come in" I said. "Hey Miley" he said. "Hey dad" I said back. "So what do you want to do today? Did you want to go hunting or what?" he asked. "I am fine dad staying home" because I knew Max would be out there. his face went to sad. "Oh okay well I am gonna order Pizza Ranch is that okay with you?" he asked. "Yeah it's fine with me dad" I said "Oh okay, I will shout for your name when it is time to eat" he said as he walked away. I am like okay then dad, then I got back to what I was doing. Then Taylor called me thru facetime this time. "Hey girl I have some great news!" she said. "Okay what is it?" I asked. "I am dating that guy name Nathan I have been telling you about" Nathan a baseball player that Taylor has been crushing on since middle school, I remember some of embarrassing memories of her trying to talk to him but she always end up doing it so humiliating I don't know why. "Oh congrats girl, while I am grounded" I told her "Oh!" she said. "Yeah" I said back. "All because your dating Max?" she asked. "Yep pretty much" I said. "Oh wow how pathetic that is" she said. "I know, it kind of is" I said. "Yeah, well can you even see him?"

she asked. "Well yea I still can but not when my dad is around I don't want to make it worst" I told her. "Yeah you pretty much don't want to make it any worst then it already is Miley" she said. "Yeah I just don't know how long I am grounded for" I said. "Did he tell you for how long?" she asked. "No but I should ask though" I answered. "Yeah I think you should Miley" then I heard him call my name "MILEY IT'S TIME TO EAT!" I am like oops "I hear him call my name to eat I will talk to you later Taylor" I said "Okay, yeah sounds good Miley, let me know how long your grounded until" she said "Okay I will bye!" as I hanged up and I ran down stairs. And then he made me a plate of pizza. "So Miley, what are you doing up in your room?" he asked. "Not much was talking to Selena and Taylor" I answered. "You sure?" he asked. "Yeah I am sure dad" I said. "Okay just checking because you lied to me about talking to Selena" he reminded me. "I know dad and I am sorry about that" I said. "So what did you girls talk about?" he asked. "Um dad, how long am I grounded?" I asked him back. "I will think about it Miley okay? Your grounded until I say your no longer grounded" he said. I am like UGH! Just great I thought. So once I got done eating my Lunch I did my dishes and as a punishment I did his dishes I guess and cleaned the house because he didn't want to do it so I had grounded chores I am like great. Then once I got that done I head back to my room for the rest of the night. I texted Max and that was pretty much it I told Taylor and she was like "Oh wow that's terrible Miley" and then I went to sleep

Next day It was another day of being grounded, and I felt like crap still. "Morning Miley" my dad said as I got downstairs. "Morning dad" I said back. "So what are you gonna do today Miley?" He asked. "I don't know yet" I answered. "Your Miley you will think of something probably" he said. I grabbed a spoon and a bowl and had some cereal "I am gonna head to work Miley, have a great day being grounded, don't go anywhere near him but you can go anywhere you want" he said "love you Miley see you tonight" he said as he head out the door. I'm like okay then, I eat my breakfast and head back to my room. There was Max at my window. "So I suppose your parents aren't home ether?" I asked him as he got in "nope they are at work" he answered. "Yeah" I said. Then he hugged me. "I miss you babe when I'm not around you every moment I start to go insane" he said. "Aww that's sweet of you baby" i said. He kissed me and I did the same thing back. "Yeah, so how long is your dad gone?" He asked. "Until he's done with work" I answered him "oh yeah never mind that I asked you that" he said. I smack him. "Yep, what do you want to do?" He asked. "I don't know" I answered. "Do you want to go on our first date?" He asked again. I turned around and looked at him. "If you want to?" I asked back. "Yeah why not" he said. And I got up from my bed and head down stairs and Max followed. And I head to go get my keys and head out the door. Max hid from Craig with a hoodie on his head. And then he hopped in and I hopped in my seat and drove out. Then me and him are on our way to he theater he was quiet. "Why are you so quiet all of sudden?" I asked. "I don't know I'm just not happy knowing your dad isn't happy about us being together I guess" he answered. "Yeah I don't know why he's not happy" I said.

Then once we got there we both picked a movie we both wanted to see and then once the movie got over we went back home. "You okay?" Because he was talking to himself and I was to busy focusing on driving. "I guess so that movie was something for sure" he answered. "Yeah it was something" I said. Then I parked it, he head home making sure Craig wasn't looking and I head up inside and I made just in time to because my dad got home to. I'm like what should I tell him?? I am freaking out!  He's gonna wonder what I did today. Hmmm I thought. "Hey Miley" he said as he locked the garage door behind him. "Hey dad, how was work?" I asked to start out with. "Busy as usual" I nod my head with yeah. "Oh wow, they sure are busy workers" I said. "What did you do today?" He asked. "I just went to go see a movie by myself" I lied I hate when I lie. "No you didn't" he said. "Okay I went with Kelly" I said. Then he believed that lie. Wow dad can't believe you felt for it. "Oh nice Miley I'm glad your having fun with your new roommate or soon to be roommate I should say" he said. "Yeah" then we had supper and then he went to his room and I did to, then Max texted me saying good night babe love you. Then I crawled in to bed and fell alseep.
