Chapter Ten: I miss being home now

The next day I woke up at 9:30am got dressed and checked my phone and there was Max. Texting me, and asking me if I am okay and all that, he is just being caring and all that. So I went down stairs there was my dad as usual. "Morning Miley" he said. "Morning dad" I said back. "How are you Miley?" he asked. "Fine, I just miss being home now" I answered. "I see" he said while reading his newspaper. "Yeah, I am gonna be out of the house today" I told him. "Oh, that's good!" he shouted. "You need to be more and more out of the house" he said. "Yeah I do need it dad" I said back as I was making my breakfast. And sat down to eat "Yeah I got to head to work anyways later on today, some how there's a fire somewhere in town" he said. "Oh no that's not good" I said. "No a fire is never fun Miley" he goes on. "Like we deal with a fire over by your old teachers house because this guy left his candle with a fire in it, so his whole place got on fire" he said. "Yeah, okay I got to get to somewhere now" I told him as I washed my dish and head out of grabbing my keys then into my car and head out. I picked up Max and I head out

And I got into town with Max, I drove in to Walmart "So what's new babe?" he asked. "Not a whole lot" I said as I got out of my drivers door. "Oh that sounds fun I guess" he laughed. "Yeah I guess it is" I said again. "Well my dad wanted me to choose between being grounded or hunting" I told him. "For real?" He asked. "Yeah" I answered. "That's the most stupidest choices I have ever heard!" He shouted. So once we got into Walmart I grab the things we needed and head right back out. "So what are you gonna do now babe?" he asked. "I honestly don't know, I guess I have to choose one of his options, I bet he wants me to pick one" I answered. "Well I don't want you to pick his options he needs to respect that I am dating his daughter" he said. "I know baby, I want him to but I guess that wont happen" I told him. "All because of that accident that happen a long time ago? Big deal!" he shouted. "Yeah, I don't know at all" I said. "Well" he said. "Well what?" I asked. "Oh nothing" he said. I looked at him like is something wrong. "it's nothing babe" he said. "Well I got to go baby, so love you" I said as we kissed on the lips and I head out and he followed behind me. 

I wonder what is on Max's mind when he keeps acting weird. I decided not think about why he's been acting so weird once I got home I parked in the garage and I grabbed all my stuff from the back. Max went to his home and parked in his garage. "Hey Miley" said dad. "Hey dad" I said back. "Do you need any help?" he asked. "You can grab the last two" I answered. "Oh you did grabbed my beer" he said. "Well you had it on the list dad" I told him. "Oh yea that's right" he said again and I chuckled. Then my dad looked at me "What dad?" I asked. "I have been thinking since you were gone" oh boy what now? I thought. "Yeah?" I asked again. "I haven't been fair to you at all since you are here and" he stopped to think some more what to say next. "I don't want to keep making the same mistakes I made in the past" he says. "I know dad" I said back. "What are you saying dad?" I asked. "I am saying you still cant be around Max" he answered. "That's what I thought your getting at" I said back. "And what is that suppose to mean?" he asked. "Um nothing dad" I answered. "I am gonna go somewhere that I forgot to go to" I said again as I head out the door. Grabbed my keys again and went in my car and head out. 

I just couldn't argue with my dad anymore, I don't want to make it worst like it was the other night. When he kicked Max out for no reason I just don't get him sometimes. So I went to Target this time and got out of my car once I parked it. And went in, there was Max. "Hey babe what are you doing here?" he asked. "I was almost about argue with my dad again" I told him. "seriously?" he asked. "Yes seriously" I answered again. "Oh my gosh!" he said. "Why?" he asked. "because he still wont let me be around you" I answered. "Geez" he said. "Yeah, which I decided to get out of the house more" I said as I walked towards the hair shampoo and all that stuff. "Well, your always welcome at my place babe" he said. "Yeah I know I am" I said back. So I found my hair product of Suave. I am almost out anyways "So what are you gonna do all day besides keep going home and going back into town? You cant do that, that wastes gas" he asked and said. "I don't know what I want to do baby, I honestly don't" I answered. "I just got to figure out something" I said again. 

So once I grabbed what I needed in Target this time I bought it and got out of the store and head to my car "Well I hope you can figure out what you want to do babe I will be in town for a while" he said. "I know, I just don't know at all honestly" I said. "Well you will figure something out" he said. "I usually figure something out for sure" I said. "Does your dad even forget what happens from the past?" he asked. "He has a hard time forgetting what happen in the past, it will take him a while to accept what is what in his life" I answered. "Oh geez" he said. "Yeah, but that's my dad for you" I told him. "Yeah well have fun babe, if you need me call me okay? I love you" he said as I got in the car and we kissed on lips. "Yeah I know baby" I said back before I closed my door. Then I drove off back home. As I got home dad was waiting for me. "Hey Miley" he said as I parked in the garage again. "Hi dad" again with this. Oh boy I thought. "So what's new?" he asked as I got out of my car. "Not a whole lot" I answered. "Oh that must be fun" he said. "Sure but not really though" I teased. So when I got in the house I unpack everything in bags and stuff

Then I am finally home for the rest of the day and night now. So me and my dad eat supper and we talked "So what is your plans for tomorrow?" he asked. "I don't know yet" I answered. "Oh you will figure something out" he said. "Yeah like I usually do" I said. "Good supper Miley, I love how you did the meatballs for the spaghetti so good" he goes off. I shook my head with like omg dad your crazy. "Well I have to work tomorrow so you will be okay right?" he asked. "Yeah I will be okay dad" I answered. "Alright I am gonna head to bed, so I will see you sometime after work tomorrow" he said. "Alright dad sounds good" I said back. Then he went up the stairs and I did the dishes and then after that I went to my room and shut the door. I crawled into bed and texted Max saying "when I got home my dad was better then before" he responded saying "Oh that is good to hear babe, I got a little worried" Oh boy baby I swear. So I texted some people then I started yawning and turned off my phone and fell asleep.
