Days past and we began to experiment on how to get back home. We traveled back to the site of the anomaly that we came from. Voltron could enter the quintessence field at will apparently, it cannot make it to another reality though. We were sent to Valsafamir to meet the other paladins and to rest. There was a Blade of Marmora base on one of the orbiting moons that Aurora, Brisia, and I wanted to go. "You ready to get going?", Brisia asked me putting her purse over her head and on her shoulder.
"Nice purse, it suits your aesthetic" I said with a smile.
"Its a satchel, but okay," Brisia replied with an eyeroll. "Are we taking different pods?"
"Yeah, I don't really wanna be in the back of the pod while Aurora flies. Aurora will get frustrated that the pod doesn't go as fast as Red, which she's grown accustomed to," I tell her, "So yeah, let's take separate pods." I hopped up into my pod.
"Wait, we aren't leaving yet!" She said reaching out her hand.
"Exactly, I'll race you there! I get a head start, unless you get Aurora to move faster!" The pod's cockpit visor came down and I flew off into space towards the white, gray, dusty moon.
Brisia ran back to her pod. "Aurora, hurry, Renn is racing us up to the-"
The door swiftly slid open. "I heard race, let's go, now!" Aurora said as she grabbed Brisia's hand, basically dragging her into the pod. They quickly took off and headed for the weird and deformed, orange, rocky moon.
As I approached the moon, I noticed a small storm up ahead. "Hmm, no big deal," I whispered to myself. The storm was right above my point of landing. I thought nothing of it. As I got closer, the storm grew bigger. "Ok, maybe I need to find a better place to-"
The harsh winds pulled me into the storm, pushing me around. "Urgh! No!" The storm threw my pod onto the ground. It crashed with hard impact, stirring up the dusty plains and dead trees and roots on the surface.
I limped out of the burning pod, looking around. I breathed in the crisp, cold air and coughed. I grabbed my paladin helmet and put it on my head. I turned on my coms. "Brisia? Hello, Aurora? Is anyone there? Quiznak, either my coms were damaged when I crashed or there's something in the atmosphere messing with them."
I stumbled a little and leaned on a tree. As soon as I put pressure on my left shoulder and arm I felt a sharp pain. "Quiznak!" I shouted. Just then, I heard what I assumed wild animal calling. My eyes widened as I realized I couldn't stay here. I needed to find shelter.
On the orange moon of Arujja. . .
"Aurora," Brisia says as they hopped out of the pod in front of the main Blade of Marmora base, "Where's Renn?"
"I'm not sure. He left first, right?" Aurora asked her as she reached into Brisisa's satchel. "Ooo, nice satchel."
"Thank the moons you're cultured!" Brisia remarks and continues digging into her satchel. "Yes, he left before us and wanted to race us here."
Aurora looked around for another Altean pod. "There's no way he could of gotten behind us somehow. We can discuss this inside, I think there's a dust storm coming," Aurora says holding Brisia's arm. They ran towards the Marmora base and approached the entrance. It asked for clearance codes. "Oh, I hope this old code still works," Aurora held her gauntlet up to the scanner. A holo-projection of ancient Galra code flashed from the gauntlet, opening the door. A guard was waiting at the door for them. "Oh, hi. I'm Aurora and this is Brisia, we're the Purple and Yellow paladins of Voltron."
"Come with me." The guard says and began walking down the large, open hall. Aurora and Brisia smiled at each other as they looked around at the gray walls and purple-pink lights. This was a part of their heritage, Galran culture.
