Chapter 26
The way he said it made shivers go up your spine in a bad way. "I-I was at dance practice." He had never talked like that to you before so you ended stuttering for no reason. You turned your head to see him leaning against the wall arms crossed as he turned to look at you.
"Are you sure?" He asked staring at you. "You're not lying to me?" "Of course not! Why would I?" He gestured his head for you to go inside as you fumbled with your keys and then got inside as he followed you and locked the door.
He turned and looked at you. "Practice ends at 12am." "Yeah so?" "You came home at 2am." "And I told you they extended it Chanyeol. What's wrong with you?" You had no idea why he was interrogating you but you didn't like it and you were tired so you were in no mood to fight.
"Nothing is wrong with me." You looked at him and sighed. "Okay well next time I'm late, don't wait for me. You need rest and who knows how long they'll keep me." He continued looking at you with those eyes and you couldn't place your finger on the look he was giving you.
"Fine." "You're acting like you don't believe me that I was at practice." "I believe you." His words were empty. You sighed. "Okay whatever. I'm tired Chanyeol. Please just go and sleep. We both need to sleep alright?" He nodded giving you a kiss on your forehead.
"Goodnight baby." He said it but not warmly. He kissed you but not lovingly. Something was off. You sighed too tired to think about it as he left and you locked the door and knocked out on your bed.
Chanyeols pov
I went to dance practice in the morning. Baekhyun was already waiting there. "So?" "She said she was at dance practice." "Really... but I was here a bit later last night after you left... no one was in that dance studio."
He said as my eyes widened. "So she was lying to me?!" He shrugged slowly. "I don't know... I'm just telling you what I saw ChanChan." "Why would she lie to me?" "Maybe she was somewhere she didn't want you to know about..."
"With another guy?!" Baekhyun shrugged again. "You know last night when I asked her she stuttered and looked quite surprised that I was waiting for her..." "That's strange..." "I guess we'll just see how it goes..." Baekhyun nodded as they started to practice again.
Hye Jungs pov
You had dance practice again. Recently, they had been extending your sessions since it seems that you were progressing. Your practices ended up being late until 2am so far.
Chanyeol had been calling you but you didn't, more like couldn't, pick up since you were practicing. You got on your break. You checked your phone.

"Hey."
"Where are you?"
"Did you come to work?"
"Are you in the dance studio?"
"When is your break?"
"What are you doing now?"
You rolled your eyes ignoring him. You had no idea why he suddenly started acting this way. You got a call. "Yobesaeyo?" It was your guy friend. "Hm... the usual..." You smiled at his goofiness.
You leaned against the wall. "Of course..." You laughed softly. "Mm... ends even later now... I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing." You nodded and sighed. "I don't know... things were fine but now he's acting strange who knows why... mm... will do..."
You laughed. "Fine! Fine! Gotta go bye!" You smiled and turned off your phone. You almost screamed when you turned around and he was standing right there staring you down with piercing eyes.
"FUCK CHANYEOL! CAN YOU NOT?!" You screamed shocked. "You almost gave me a fucking heart attack!" "Who was that?" He asked. You rolled your eyes. "Okay seriously?" You sighed. "What is up with you?!"
You shoved your phone in his face. "10 missed calls and 6 messages. What are you my mom?" "Just answer me." He said coldly. "You know what? Maybe you don't need to know." You said back not liking the way he asked you.
"Tell me who it was." He said demandingly as he gritted his teeth. "You know what? I don't need to tell you! You're being so... I don't know!" You said. "I have to go practice so you need to go cool yourself off! I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you!"
You said angrily as you walked into the dance studio leaving him frustrated and angry too. "Nothing is wrong with me!" He said as he stomped to his dance studio. When you finished work you came out and walked home.
You thanked God that he wasn't waiting for you because his new attitude really wasn't making you happy. Was it because he saw you at the cafe with Baekhyun? You told him the truth right? So why would he suddenly be like this?
You walked home as usual and this time he was in front of your apartment. "Where were you?" That question... as if he was suspicious of you. "At dance practice. How many times do I have to tell you Chanyeol?"
You said walking past him and down the hallway as he walked alongside you. "Dance practice doesn't end that late." "Well it does for me." "Are you sure you didn't go out?" "Where would I go?" "I don't know. You tell me." He said coldly.
"Can you stop Chanyeol? Look, I'm tired. It's late. We both need energy for tomorrow and you're really not helping." "Then tell me who you talked to today." "You don't need to know." "You don't want me to know." "It's just someone alright?!" You said loudly frustrated with his actions.
He shoved you against the wall. "Tell me! FUCKING TELL ME HYE JUNG!! WHO WERE YOU TALKING TO ON THE PHONE?! FUCKING TELL ME RIGHT NOW!!"
