A month or two has gone by and our class was now ready for another Trial. I was really nervous and very worried however. Despite my training with Gill Grunt, I couldn't help but to be afraid of what my results would end up being.
I mean, I originally had an A and back when I went through the Trial, falling it caused by semester grade to go all the way down to a C! And usually I'm always an A or an B student.
Everyone were on the starting track, awaiting Master Eon's signal to start. I was really nervous and Gill Grunt must have been able to sense the fact that I was nervous because the next thing you know, he gives me a grin and tells me that I got this.
I was doubt full of myself at first, but his words built up confidence inside me. I was suddenly both confident and determined to do this.
I couldn't believe in myself to the point I'd actually think of myself winning in first place, but I was sure of myself that I would not make it in final place.
Eventually Master Eon gives the signal and immediately us Skylanders darts over the starting place. I nearly thought I would crash right into the obstacle-- just like the last time, but without even having to think, my body allows me to jump over the obstacles without any difficulties. I was shocked! For once, I actually managed to keep the obstacles from getting in my way!
But it shouldn't be so shocking. The first time I attempted the Trial, I was inexperienced. But this time, I came prepared with practice. It wasn't like the last time. Things were different.
I may have not made it first in the Trials, but I did make it into third place, with h was a big enough accomplishment for me.
It was a nice feeling making everyone proud. Since then, I've gone all out at the Academy determined by the end of the year, to graduate and to become a Skylander who would help defend Skylands.

Time has passed, and the semesters went by unusually fast. During the time, I would busy myself with studying, which I never used to do back in my home world. And I would also do daily exercises each day. It may not had been a lot however, but even just a little makes a difference.
Eventually the time came where we had only one more day before the ceremony to decide who would become the next top Skylanders to defend Skylands.
It was a big deal to be picked off as one of the very few Skylanders to graduate and to be given this huge responsibility. Especially since if you are picked to graduate, you are drawn in a special book filled with the Skylanders who graduate and becomes Skylanders next defenders.
It sounded exciting. I couldn't wait for tomorrow. Do after eating dinner with Spyro and the gang, I went to my room to give myself some shut eye to only minutes later be awoken by ear peircing party music that roared so loudly, all of Skylands itself had to have heard it.
I groaned but get out of bed and step out of my room to only see countless of fellow Skylanders, some even appearing to be strangers, dancing and crowding the house. Colorful lights would flash about in the main room and loud party music was bursting out.
I look around for Spyro and when I did find him, I complain. "Spyro, what the heck?! I was sleeping!"
"Sleeping?! On the night of what will be your very special day tomorrow? No way! I wanted to throw this big party in dedication to you! I mean, you've been working so hard up until now to get to where you are! You need to be rewarded. And so I figured I would throw a party! I mean, what's not to love about parties?"
My irritation vanished without a trace and I found myself feeling all warm inside. Spyro decided to throw this big party...just for me? That was too sweet of him!
I thanked him for it and the rest of Spyro's friends came over and said it was no big deal and that I deserved it.
There appeared to be loads of deserts prepared, including cakes and brownies! I charged over to the deserts gobbling them all up within seconds, gulped down loads of water afterwards and then I heard a voice coming from behind.
I turned around to see Gill Grunt. "Oh yeah, and we invited your friend over!" Hollard Spyro. "Gill Grunt!" I greeted anxiously, all happy to see him.
He happily returned a greeting, before we began to dance along with the rest of the Skylanders to the party music.
I knew that I was probably going to regret going along with this, but as long as I went to bed before midnight, everything should be fine.
