It was 4:00 am in the morning. Not a creature was stirring...all except for a certain sky-blue dragon. Kiyomi. It was Christmas Eve night inside the house that sheltered her, Spyro, Stealth Elf, Eruptor, and Jet Vac. Everyone was all sleeping, dreaming about candy canes, presents and jollyiness.

The only one in the house who couldn't sleep, was Kiyomi. Well...at a decent hour she went to bed and she did get some sleep, but always, it was difficult for the girl to stay asleep on the morning of Christmas. She always woke up way too early and was never really allowed to tell everyone morning. Often at times, if she did, others may be cranky with her or tell her to go back to sleep or how its too early. But how could any skylander contain their excitement on Christmas?! It was impossible!

So Kiyomi was in her room and under her bed covers, tossing and turning, in hopes of falling right back to sleep. But it didn't work. Nothing she did at all seemed to work. Falling asleep until more time passes, was impossible. She couldn't sleep. How could she when excitement and family fun would soon await her? It was only a few more hours left!

Kiyomi, once she came to the realization and unavoidable truth that she could never fall back to sleep, she sits up on her bed and constantly keeps an eye on her clock that sat on her night-stand table. It was so unbelievably early. It was past midnight, of course. But she always had a bad habit in waking up in the early morning.

Kiyomi feels as though she might go crazy as she does nothing but sitting, waiting for the time that seemed to be paused, to pass and she jumps on her bed, and if she had any strands of hair, she'd been pulling them out right now.

Luckily there were enough things in her room at the moment she was able to distract herself with-- there was books, paper to draw and write on, and....yeah. That was basically it. So Kiyomi turned the light to her room on and went over to her table to start drawing some jolly and xmasy pictures before writing a little. After she was done writing, she went forth to her book-shelf to grab out "The Lord Of The Skylanders".

Kiyomi giggled upon reading the title. Back in her world, this story existed. Except the only difference between Skyland's version of the story is that all the characters are Skylanders...except, Gandalf was Master Eon and Sauron was Kaos. Kiyomi couldn't help but to find the differences between the story from her home world and the world of Skylands funny.

After a lot of reading The Lord of the Skylanders she switches into reading some Christmas and Holiday stories instead. As hours passed it was soon late enough to wake everyone and to wish them a merry christmas!

Kiyomi hurries into each of her friends rooms before shouting... "Merry Christmas!"

That morning, everyone surrounded themselves around their Christmas tree they had put up in the living room and gave each other gifts. Joy and laughter filled the room. Later on that same morning after handing out gifts, Spyro began to cook chocolate chip pancakes along with some gingerbread cookies for everyone to chow down on!

Everyone would sing Christmas carols to each other and have a whole lot of fun. Kiyomi eventually puts her red winter scarf around her neck and tells Spyro and the rest of the gang that she is going over to Gill Grunt's place to wish him a merry Christmas.

So Kiyomi darts out the doors and rides down the snowy splopy hills on her sleigh until she reached the door to Gill Grunts house. She knocks three times and eventually the doors opens to reveal Gill Grunt standing right there!

"Merry Christmas, Gill Grunt!" Beams Kiyomi before grabbing Gill Grunt into a hug.
"Merry Christmas to you as well, Kiyomi! Come on in, I was just fixing up some warm hot cocoa!" Grins the fish before leading Kiyomi inside.

Christmas is a very special Holiday to spend with family, friends and with the people you love. Of course, giving and getting presents is always exciting. but never forget the true meaning of Christmas. Have a merry Christmas, have a happy hanukkah, and a happy new year!

Happy Holidays
