It was the following day, and me and my Team were called to meet with Master Eon to....shave the fur off of Sheep's?
"Your kidding me!" Shouts Zap, angry in disbelief. "I did not train and attend the Academy so I would be shaving the fur off Sheep's backs!!" One of the nearby sheep's lets out an offended cry in response to Zap's outburst.
Master Eon simply ignored Zap's outburst and smiles. "Yes, perhaps you did not train to do this, but you became a Skylander so you could protect Skylands, correct?"
"Of course!"
"Then you shall shave the fur off these sheeps-- but remember, not all of--" Master Eon's warning came too late and Boomer was already turning on his shaver while screaming, "BOOM, BOOM! HA, HA, HAAA!!!" And he excitedly shaves all the fur off one of the sheep's who darts off completely terrified and embarrassed, and it hid it's naked self in one of the bushes close by.
"...it." Master Eon finished with an un-amused look, as if he was expecting at least one of his new Skylanders to act rashly.
"But do you care to explain how this even protects Skylands?!" Spark still wanted an explanation from Master Eon.
"Oh right-- of course you would want to know the reasoning as to why I want you four to trim the fur to these lovely sheep. You see, if the sheep's fur grows too big, it will terrify everyone in all of Skylands, and all will be in chaos!"
Immediately everyone, including me, becomes fearful. "You wouldn't want that to happen...would you?" Master Eon smiles.
"N-No, of course n-not Master Eon!" Zap stuttered out. "Very good. Then I expect you four to be done by afternoon." Master Eon smiles once more, before taking his leave with Hugo, who had accompanied the Master here.
Honestly, I didn't mind this job at all. This was really relaxing, enjoyable, and sorta fun. But it wasn't just me. Gill Grunt and Boomer especially, seemed to be enjoying the given task as well. But Zap....not so much.
In frustration, Zap suddenly tosses away his shaver and groans quite unhappily.... "This is both stupid, and pointless! I'm done!!"
"But Zap, you only just started!" Gill Grunt points out. "Yeah, so? Did you really buy Master Eon's story that if the sheep's fur grows too big, their huge size will strike fear into everyone in Skylands and that all will be in chaos?"
"Erm....maybe a little." Admits the Fish. "Are you all seriously that stupid!!?" Shouts out Zap.
"But whether this really will protect Skylands or not, I really don't know. But what I do know is the reasoning behind why Master Eon gave us this small task is because we have yet to proven ourselves ready for bigger task. If we want to make it to the top, we have to start all the way at the bottom, you see?"
Me and Boomer nods in understanding to what Gill Grunt just said. His words held truth, and invited no argument. After a moment, Zap groans.
"Fiiiine! Just....fine! So what your saying is that all I have to do is prove myself to Master Eon?"
"Exactly!" Nods Gill Grunt quite happily. With that, Zap approaches the shaver he tossed away from before, and begins to help his friends by trimming off the sheep's fur with a shaver, alongside the rest of the Team.
"Don't worry Zap, I'm sure when Master Eon begins to acknowledge our accomplishments in our given task, over time, we will be given a much bigger task." I reassured Zap.
"Like fighting off bad guys and kicking their butts?" He raises a brow. "Y-Yes, exactly." I have a nervous smile.
Kicking bad guy butts to save Skyland....will I really be brave enough for that?
