It was the following morning and I woke up on time. I was very groggy from the lack of sleep I received last night, but I wasn't going to let that get in the way of me giving the ceremony my all today. I mean, I've worked so hard to finally reach to where I am now. I can't give up to sleep. This was the day for me to give it my all and to shine.
I had pancakes this morning with a bunch of fruit and with that, I told everyone but and to wish me luck before flying off. They all said they would be in the crowds rooting for me.
I managed to get there on time and besides me, Gill Grunt had made it including another selected few of Skylanders. Eventually Master Eon calls attendance, and everyone appeared to be here on time. This much, pleased Master Eon.
But then the Trials we would face would prove much more challenging than the ones we undergoes during classes. These we were completely unprepared for. But I didn't let that shake me. I can do this. Everyone has their faith in me, so I should try and believe in myself no matter how difficult things may get. I can do it.
The Trials were indeed a lot more challenging than the ones we've went through originally, but somehow or other I managed to pass them all. In the end, Master Eon announced that I had passed and that I shall become an official Skylander who will protect Skylands, and how I will be put in the special book of selected Skylanders who have graduated, which shall go down in history!
Spyro and the gang hurried over once the ceremony was at its end, and grabbed me in a group hug, cheering for me and telling me how proud they were. Gill Grunt was also cheering as well. And just like me, he had passed and was an official Skylander who will also be put in Master Eon's special book.
Today was a day full of celebration. Spyro and the gang treated both me and Gill Grunt to fast food and we went to many places together to have a blast.
We went bowling, we went to an arcade, and well...we did a lot together. Today was incredibly fun after the ceremony was finished. I was really nervous during the time of the ceremony but that feeling washed away completely when I was announced as graduated and when Spyro treated me and my friend Gill Grunt to several different places to chill and have fun at.
The following day Master Eon decided to put me in a group of Skylanders I would work with while protecting Skylands together.
I was teamed up with Gill Grunt, Zap, and Boomer. I kinda recognize Zap and Boomer from among my classes, but I never really got to know them personally. But perhaps now will be my chance to do so.
I moved out of Spyro's house and Master Eon had me, Zap, and Boomer live inside Gill Grunts place. If we are going to be working together to keep all of Skylands safe, we are going to have to share the same rooth so we can get to know each other a lot better.
I didn't feel too uncomfortable while moving here. But that probably had to do with the fact that I already knew Gill Grunt, so it didn't feel like I was moving in with a bunch of strangers.
When we all started to settle down, we all decided to introduce ourselves. "My name is Gill Grunt." Starts of the fish. "The names Zap, don't forget it." Introduces Zap. Is it just me, or does he seem to resemble a dragon, but just one without wings?
"BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!! HA, HA, HA!!!" The green elf-like Skylander started bursting out as he started jumping about like crazy.
"Your name is Boomer, right?" Everyone can already guess that quickly. "Boom, boom!!" Boomer nods happily as if saying Yes.
This sure is an interesting group...I just hope to be able to get along with Zap and Boomer alright. But it really did feel strange though, moving out of Spyro's place.
Everyday I spent it with Spyro and his friends. But now that I graduated, I had to stay with my teammates who is to be working with me from now on to help keep the peace in Skylands.
We all talked a little, but we were mostly each busy moving our things into my room. As I was carrying really heavy boxes over my back, filled with loads of paper drawings of Attack on Titan Zap gave me an interesting look.
"What?" I raise an brow. "Do you really need all that paper? Just looks like a bunch of stupid drawings."
Immediately My face is flushed in anger. These aren't stupid drawings!! The majority of it all isy drawings of Armin Arlert, one of my top favorite characters in the Attack on Titan book series I read!!
"I-It's not stupid." I said before heading into my room to unload my stuff. "But you do realize you probably won't have any time to browse at it all?" Zap adds.
"Perhaps, but there's always a little bit of time each day for free time." I tell him before closing my door to sort things out.
"Pst! Spark!!" Gill Grunt whispered quite loudly in the main room, over to Spark who currently just had a door practically slammed in his face.
"What? What are you whispering for?" Zap approaches the fishy Skylander.
"Erm...about Kiyomi, she's very obsessed with her art and the fandoms such as Attack on Titan. Try to be a little more careful in your choice of words-- she's sensitive, and, well....as long as you don't want on her bad side, you should heed my warning."
With that, Gill Grunt walks away, leaving Zap bewildered. "So...if I disrespect her hobby I will win up on her bad side? Yikes...I guess I should be more careful." Zap considers before getting ready to take his own boxed items into his own room to sort out himself.
The rest of the day was simple, I was able to relax some and Zap went over and apologized to me for calling my art stupid. Being as nice as I usually am, I accepted his apology without a second thought.
I wonder if there will be a day when me and Zap could become good friends....
