Demi's pov
It's finally the day of my 5 month appointment and I couldn't be more excited right now. I want to know what I have in my stomach right now. I can't have another day of not knowing.
"Alright Demi, I can see the parts today, do you want to know the gender?" She asks.
"Yes." I smile.
"It's a girl." She smiles.
I look down at Ariana, "You're going to have a baby sister." I say.
Her eyes light up and I watch a big smile come across her face, "I get a sister?" She asks quietly.
I move her hair from her face and nod, "Yes, you get a sister." I say.
I watch her eyes water as she hugs me and I look at Wilmer as I wrap my arm around her, "I get a sister." She whispers to herself.
Wilmer is trying to hold himself together, but I can tell he's overwhelmed with so many happy emotions at the news of another little girl.
I break the eye contact with Wilmer and look down at Ariana, "Ariana are you happy my sweet girl?" I ask as I feel tears fall onto my chest.
"Yeah mommy, I really happy." Her tiny voice says.
I kiss the top of her head and and rub her back as I look at the monitor and see the baby kicking.
"Development is still on track and the heartbeat sounds great." The doctor smiles.
"So she's doing good?" I ask.
"She's doing great." She confirms.
I look to Wilmer ecstatic and I see him wiping a tear from his face. I give him a smile before I look down at Ariana. I lift her chin up, "What do you think my angel? You get to be a big sister to a sister." I say.
Her lip quivers as she stares up at me, "I'm happy mommy. I want to be big sissy to baby sissy." She says.
And that's what finally gets me emotional. I feel my eyes water as I look at her happiness, "You're going to be an amazing big sister. Do you know that?" I ask.
"I try mommy." She says.
"You don't need to try. You're going to be a great big sister. I know you'll be a great big sister." I say.
She snuggles closer to me, "You be good mommy. You the best mommy in the whole wide world." She says.
And that is when I let my own tears fall. I love this girl so much. I love her more than I'll ever be able to express and it's just the simplest things she says that mean the most. It's the smallest actions she does that melt my heart.
"Thank you Ariana, I love you so so much." I say kissing the top of her head.
"I love you to mommy." She says keeping her koala like grip on me.
I watch Dr. Blanchard put the notes into the computer before she hands me the towel to wipe my stomach off.
"What day works best for you next month? December 13th December 18th, December 20th?" She asks.
I look to Wilmer for an answer, "I'm free this month. Up to you." He says.
"What which one has something after 2:30?" I ask thinking about Ariana and her nap.
"December 20th." She says.
"Ok can we do September 20th?" I ask.
"3 again?" She asks with a smile.
"Please." I say.
"Of course." She says.
I watch her type into the computer and look back at me, "You'll be in the middle of week 24 Demi. Very end of month 6." She says looking at the computer.
"Ok." I say.

When we get home I unlock the front door and Ariana runs inside excitedly. She looks back at me as she hops onto the couch, "Mommy sit." She says.
I sit next to Ariana on the couch and she immediately snuggles close to me, "Do you want to watch a movie? Or do you want to color? Or snuggle?" I ask.
"Snuggles!" She cheers.
"Good because I love your snuggles." I say.
I lay down and look at her sitting next to me. I wait for her lay down but I watch her instead lean over me and kiss my stomach and hugs it. She then crawls further up the couch and gives me a kiss before laying down next to me and wrapping her arms to hug me.
I cover her her up with the blanket and place a kiss back on her lips to return the action she did to me, "I love you and baby sissy." She says.
"I love you too and your baby sister is going to love you so much. She's going to be very lucky to have such a great big sister." I say.
"My real mommy told me I took really good care of coco and that I be good sissy later." I say.
"You're real mommy is right. You do take care of coco and I know you'll take really good care of your baby sister." I say.
"I get to help?" She asks.
"Yes, you get to help if you want to." I say.

"Alright angel, if you need me you know where to find me right?" I ask.
"Yes mommy." She says.
I pull the blankets onto her body and move her hair out of her face, "Good night my little angel." I say.
"Goodnight mommy." She says.
I place a kiss on the top of her head and she smiles, "You go to sleepy now mommy. You need sleepy too." She says.
"I will go to sleep." I say.
I turn her lights off and watch her eyes close and I walk out of her bedroom and head down to Wilmer and is room.
"I can't handle the level of cuteness that child puts out Wilmer." I say as I get into bed.
"I know I can't either. I never cry and she had me crying in that appointment. She loves you so much and she loves that baby too. She is just the sweetest little girl and has such a big heart." Wilmer says.
"I hope her baby sister learns from her. If so, we're going to have 2 very sweet girls." I say.
He smiles, "Another baby girl. I was wrong." He says.
I smirk, "We told you."
"You two did." He laughs.
I lay down and just look up at him with a smile, "I couldn't be happier with where our life's are right now." I say.
"I couldn't be either." He says.
He pushes my hair from my eyes and places a kiss on my lips, "Soo I've been thinking and we have no plans for thanks giving. How are we going to do it? Little Ariana's just coming out of her shell. She doesn't trust you still and a lot of people is going to overwhelm her. I want her to be her normal happy self and stress free, but at the same time we do need to see our families. I mean we still haven't even told them the news yet. I've got a little bump now and we all know that no ones going to miss that, so we'll have to tell them that too." I say.
"Yeah, I don't know hermosa. We'll have to brainstorm more on that one. I agree with you. Ariana has done some things today that she's never done before. I don't want to scare her either." Wilmer says.
I know Ariana trusts me, but I know that 1 person isn't enough to make up for the amount of people she won't. She's ok with me now because she can keep an eye on Wilmer and she knows there's 2 against 1 in her mind. But she'll be terrified if everyone comes over because it's just me and her against everything. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'll have to think of a compromise or us and Ariana.
