Demi's pov

The weeks seemed to fly by after the nice day outside with Ariana. Her and Wilmers relationship has finally gotten to the stage he can hold her and do things with her. It's been very cute to watch as well. But I'm happy to say she's still a mommy's girl at the end of the day.

"Mommy baby get presents tomorrow?" Ariana asks.

I look at her laying in my lap and smile down at her, "Baby is still in my tummy. She'll get stuff once she's here and a little bit older. She won't be able to use anything when she gets here. She'll just want to sleep and eat." I say.

"When baby come?" She asks.

I've 6 months which is still crazy to me. I feel like it's just flown by. Sure I found out rather later than most people, but I feel life for the time I have known it's just gone by so quickly.

"3 months sweet girl. She'll be here in March. Unless she decides to come early, but let's hope not." I say.

"How come? I want baby now." She says.

I run my fingers through her hair with my free hand as I keep my other hand in here, "Well if she comes to early then she may be unhealthy. She has to stay in my tummy for a while so that she's healthy when she comes out. If she comes too early, she may not live." I say.

"Baby need to stay in. I want sissy." She says.

"I know you do. That's why I'm doing everything I can to make sure she's healthy." I say.

I have canceled everything until the baby comes. I know work can cause me to be stressed and I don't want to stress myself out so much that I cause myself an early labor. But it's definitely not hurting not doing anything. No appearance means hidden pregnancy and that's a lot less stress too.

"I get brother after sissy?" She asks.

I chuckle, "I don't know about that one. We'll see, maybe in the future." I say.

"Daddy, you keep Santa out?" Ariana asks.

"Well if Santa doesn't come, how will you get your presents?" Wilmer asks.

"I don't need presents daddy. I got a mommy and daddy. I happy." She says.

I feel my heart warm at that statement, "I'll keep Santa away. I'll protect you and your mommy tonight. You'll just get me and mommy's presents for tomorrow." Wilmer says.

"It be us tomorrow?" She asks.

"Yes sweet girl, it's just going to be me, you, and daddy tomorrow. No ones coming over." I say.

It was a hard decision to make, but with how anxious Ariana gets I think it's for the best. I want her to just enjoy tomorrow, not be scared of everyone.

"I sorry." She frowns.

I tap her nose, "Don't be sorry little angel. I'm not upset and neither is daddy. We want you to be able to enjoy tomorrow and not be scared of all the people here. Everyone else understood that and are ok with our decision too. But daddy and I don't want to share you anyway way tomorrow. You're our baby." I say with a smile.

Her smile returns, "I a good girl." She says.

"You're a very good girl." Wilmer says.

"Puppy get toys?" She asks as her curious mind begins to wander.

"Yes." I smile.

"Bad puppy doesn't?" She asks.

"Which ones that bad puppy?" I ask.

"Da big one." She says.

Ah. Marrok. The one who scared Ariana so bad we have to keep in the guest room for most of the day.

"Well, he's not a bad puppy. He looks bad but he wanted to play that day. But I know he scared you my sweet girl. He looks scary but he's nice. If I didn't know Marrok, I'd be scared too." I say.

"Tiny puppy, good puppy." She says.

"You like Cinderella and Batman don't you?" I ask.

"Yeah mommy." She nods.

I notice chills on her body and I watch Wilmer readjust he blanket before I could, "Thanks Daddy." She says.

"No problem Ariana." He says.

I watch her go back to eating the candy cane and I continue to run my fingers through her hair, "Does that taste good?" I chuckle.

I get a head nod in response and I chuckle, "Do you want more of your hot chocolate?" I ask.

"No mommy." She says.

"Are you going to sleep with daddy and I tonight?" I ask.

Something scared her the last nightmare and she hasn't been able to sleep alone. However I also haven't been able to get her to talk about it either without her just having a full blown panic attack over it.

"Can I Mommy?" She asks.

"Yes you can sweet girl." I say.

"I done." She says handing me the half eaten candy cane.

I hand it off to Wilmer to take care of and I look down at Ariana, "Let's go brush you're teeth now. Then we'll get into bed alright." I say.

"Ok mommy." She says.

She gets out of my lap and I pick her blanket up and follow her to the bathroom. I watch her get onto her little step stool to reach the sink. As she struggles to reach the toothpaste, I step in and help her with that, "Thank you mommy." She says.

I place a gentle kiss on her cheek, "You are so welcome." I say.

I watch her brush her teeth and once that's done I lead her to Wilmer and I's room. I get into the bed and Wilmer lifts Ariana up and she crawls next to me.

"It sweepy time?" She asks.

I nod, "Its bedtime."

"Ok mommy. Night night." She says.

"Goodnight little angel." I say.

"Night night daddy." Ariana says.

"Good night Ariana." He says softly.

I feel her snuggle into me and when I look down at her, I see her eyes already closed and her in a deep sleep.

"Well at least we don't have to get out of bed to put the presents out tonight." I whisper,

"Nope." Wilmer says.

"Are you going to sleep too?" Wilmer asks.

"Yeah." I say.

I wrap an arm around Ariana and pull her closer t me before I close my eyes and go to sleep.
