"Alright Wolfhard, first day on the job. today your assignment is to monitor this mac book air. This person was caught sniffing through some of their local police station's files. Make sure they aren't hacking. Here are the files on this person." Officer Morgan handed me a real thin file.

"Do we know this person's name? Gender? Age?" I asked, not wanting to go into this assuming someone's identity.

"All in the files, kid." Officer Morgan chewed his gum and walked out of the computer room. He was just glad to have someone around to do the things he didn't want to do anymore.

Alright. Time to get started.

I opened up the dusty old laptop and entered the mac book air. The wallpaper was a photo of a boy with a bowl cut. Freckles were speckled all over his fave, just like mine. I wondered if he could be the owner of this device.

Just to be safe, I opened up the files and scanned the pages, there were only two. It read,

                                                                          BROWN, MILLIE
                                                               AGE: 19      STATUS: ORPHAN

                                                                 MARITAL STATUS: SINGLE

Okay, so she was around my age and single.... Cool. It wasn't like I needed someone in my life anytime soon, I had just gotten over Iris.

I soon noticed the shiny activate camera button in the top right corner. I was curious on what this was. So of course I clicked it.

The screen became hazy and then it became clear.

A short petite girl with curly honey colored hair. She was dancing around in her cute PJs listening to some twin peaks. I had to admit, this girl had a pretty good taste in music, much like myself. I kinda felt bad that I was straight p spying on her through her laptop.

I just stared at her for a while. I sat there admiring her beautiful features. He didn't mind that her hair was still a tangled mess from bed head, or the fact that she had goofy red lensed glasses on as she continued to do a bunch of awkward dances nobody would do in public.

She seemed like the kinda gal I would hang out with on campus. She seemed pretty different and cool, like my cup of tea.

I kept admiring her beauty. she had cute dimples and her smile lighted up the room. She stopped dancing and sat down at the vanity, then she remembered and walked over to the laptop on the bed.

I panicked and thought she saw me, thank god I stayed silent.

I only thought about one thing during this entire situation

God, I was such a creep.

I promised myself to not look if she started changing or showering. It would definitely be my first time seeing a beautiful girl like her unclothed. She picked up the laptop and proceeded to put it on the vanity.  She began combing her hair, even that made my stomach flutter. Imagine if she found out I was in her laptop.

She began to unfold her homework and work on.. geometry? I was pretty good in that subject. I usually majored in things like tech, but math was also one of my really good strong points.

I watched her write down things that I couldn't make out, but one thing caught my eye, she answered wrong for what  a prism is, I really wanted to point it out to her, I decided against it I would be fired if I did and it would totally ruin the FBI's service.

God Millie, why are you so horrible in geometry.

I continued brushing my hair.

I couldn't help but feel like someone was watching me. I turned around, but all I saw was the rest of my room. I shrugged it off and started bobbing my head to the new song playing on my laptop.

I heard a quick ding. I looked at the screen of my laptop and realized it was just from Maddie.

Hey M. Jack is being a little bitch and saying that you apparently cheated on him for a while. What a pussy. I'll see you tomorrow. I'm so sorry. He's just jealous of you and how you were able to spot your toxic relationship.    :(

I banged my head on the table gently twice. I turned to my laptop. "Your the only thin that gets me."

I gently touched the screen.

I don't know why, but something just compelled me to talk to it, I mean, it wasn't like it was an actual person so why not?

"I'm just so frustrated you know? I just got back with Wyatt and everyone is against us already. I d-don't know, Wyatt doesn't deserve this, I'm wondering if I should just break up with him so that he doesn't have to go through this." I started to cry,

"I just, I really want someone to be there for me, but everyone who is always ends getting hurt. What is Jack's problem?" Tears spilled down her cheeks. It felt good to let it out. She wiped her tears and acted like nothing just happened.

She really just wanted to let all the pain just slip away and not able to feel anything ever again.

"Uhm.. Hi I'm Finn."

She let out a huge shriek.
