The next morning, you walked out to the strawberry fields to just relax. You didn't notice as Percy jogged up to you.
"Hey, (Y/N), can you meet me at the beach after dinner? I want to tell you something." He states. "Oh, okay," you smile lightly and turn back to the strawberries.
You look behind you as Percy walks away. You hadn't felt that all too familiar feeling of butterflies in your stomach when he was around. You turn back around and come face to face with a pale boy. Nico di Angelo. You jump back and scream.
"What the hell, di Angelo!" you yell as he smirks. "Chiron wanted me to get you." Nico responds.
"And you decided the best way to do that was to scare the crap out of me?"
"Yep! Follow me." he starts to walk away. You roll your eyes but follow him anyways.
You frown but follow him to the big house where Chiron is waiting. You and Nico approach him and wait for him to say something.
"I have a quest for you two. You two better consult the Oracle." he says simply. "Both of us?" you ask. "Yes," Chiron walks away.
"Well, okay then." Nico turns to you.
"I'm just confused as to why you have to go with me." you grab his hand and drag him behind you. A smile tugs at the corner of Nico's mouth as he shakes his head.
