You walk into the Athena cabin and see Annabeth sitting on her bed. When you open the door she looks up at you. "Go away." she glares at you.
"What?" you say quietly.
"I said to go away! I know what happened. I know why Percy...why he...whatever. We're back together now. He doesn't like you, by the way." she said harshly.
"What? Whatever he told you, it was a lie." You crossed your arms and stood in the doorway.
"He told me that you just walked up to him and said you had a crush on him, and then you kissed him! And you made him dump me." she said it in a quiet yell.
"That's completely untrue! I never did any of that," you were really upset now. "And how do you make someone break up with someone else? That makes no sense!
"What actually happened was he told me to meet him at night and I went. Then he told me that he had a crush on me and just kissed me! And I just left! I didn't do anything, Annabeth! I left!"
You turned on your heel and stormed out of the cabin, leaving Annabeth standing there.
You walked away until you literally ran into a black haired boy. It was Nico.
"What are you doing here, di Angelo?"
"Nothing that concerns you," his expression suddenly changed and something that looked like concern filled his eyes. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. Fine." You turn to walk away but he grabs your hand and pulls you back.
"You're not fine. Spill." You had the sudden urge to tell Nico everything that was bothering you. So you did.
"What a jerk." he said when you finished talking. "I can't believe he would do that to you."
"Yeah. Me neither." You went to walk away again but something stopped you. "Hey, Nico? Can we talk about what...happened?"
"Um, okay. Meet me by the woods tonight?"
You nod. "I'll be there." You turn and walk away.
