You sit down at the Athena table with your siblings, minus Annabeth because she was still in Cabin 6.
Across the room, you spot Percy sitting alone at the Poseidon table. He looks over to you and smiles. You smile back at him and quickly look back down at your food.
A few minutes later, Annabeth walks out and sits down next to you. "Are you mad?" you say, turning to her.
"No. Why would I be mad?" she replies.
"No reason." You go back to eating your food. You look up after a few seconds to find your enemy, Nico di Angelo looking at you. You glare at him and roll your eyes, trying to ignore the butterflies in your stomach.

You get up after dinner and start walking to your cabin. "Hey (l/n), who picked your outfit today, Stevie Wonder?" you hear someone call out to you.
"How clever, di Angelo. I'd like to turn all of your belongings into Portkeys." you call back. You get to your cabin door and enter, sighing in annoyance.
"He's so annoying!" you say to your siblings. "You know, for such an annoying person, you sure do talk about him a lot." Annabeth remarks.
"I do not!" You walk to your bunk and sit on the bed. Maybe Annabeth was right. Maybe you do talk about him too much. You feel yourself start to zone out and don't bother to stop yourself.
You think about Percy and his sea green eyes, which quickly turned to...Nico. Snap out of it! You told yourself once again.
You were confused.
