SEAN'S POV:
As I dart through the water, I feel the water surround me and I leave a trail of bubbles but my fast swimming. My emerald green tail shimmers as the sun shines through the water. My brown hair flows through out the water. I see coral reefs below me and colorful fish swimming gracefully. I smile at them. A pod of dolphins race with me. We dart through the water. After a while I stop to say by to the dolphins.
"Swim with you guys later."
I said as I have to them. The dolphins let out whistles and clicks as I swim away. I swim to the Kingdom also known as Atlantis. My father and mother are the King and Queen of the Northern Sea. I swim to my where my mother usual is which is. I spot her shimmering teal tail and swim to her. She turns around and smiles.
"Sean!"
She swims to me and hugs me. I smile and hug her back.
"How's my baby doing."
She misses my forehead.
"Mom...I'm 28...I'm not a baby anymore."
I say.
"I know...but you'll always be my baby no matter how old you are."
She says smiling. I smile. "Oh...your father wants to see you."
She says.
"Why..."
She shrugs. I slightly frown and slowly swim away to my father's throne. I see him and his blue tail move through the water.
"Come Sean..."
He says. I slowly swim to him and bow.
"Good day Father..."
I smile at him. He smiles.
"I'd like to talk to you about something."
I nod.
"You know Sean. You have grown. And I think it's time you take responsibility." "Responsibility?"
"Yes...you're going to one day rule the Kingdom and the Northern Sea."
I nod understanding. Even though ruling the sea isn't really what I wanted to do with my life. I love watching the reefs and the fish swim by. I love racing with the dolphins and going exploring in sunken ships. But I can't do that if I'm King. I try to smile as my dad explains.
"Do you understand Sean?"
I snap out of fantasy land and look at my father.
"Uh...yeah."
I try to sound believable. He sighs which makes me frown. "I know it's a lot to take but I know you can do it. When I was young I didn't believe that I could be this great. But look at me now."
I slightly smiled. My father smiled and let me go. I swam to a sunken ship nearby that I like to swim around. I followed the fish around. I smiled as they darted through the water in schools. They were so pretty. Then I heard dolphin clicks and whistles coming from a distance. I look around and see a pod swimming in circles oddly. I slowly swim to them. I get to them and study them. They sound like they're in destress. A huge shadow from the surface moves across the ocean. The dolphins swim away in fear. I frown looking up seeing a big ship slowly move by over me. I hear loud clicks and look around. A baby dolphin was caught in a net in the water. I frown and go to the net and try to get the dolphin free. It's no use. I look down on the reefs below and swim to it looking for a sharp rock. I find a rock and swim back to the net. I saw at the net. The waves of the ocean become stronger and push me around. I try to hold my place and I managed to get the baby dolphin's fins free. After a few minutes I get it's tail free and untangle the baby dolphin out of the net. The baby dolphin swims out and to it's pod. I follow but is stopped by a tug on my tail. I frown and look at my tail that is tangled in the net. Flashbacks appear in my mind of the horrid day I lost my brother. I start freaking out and trying to get free. It won't work. I realize that I still have my rock. I start sawing at the net but the net is too tight around my tail. I feel the net tighten as I struggle more. The feel of the net slowly being pulled up to the surface makes tears run down my face. Memories flash into my mind. I keep sawing at the net and manage to cut some of the net. My life goes through my mind. My mother. My father. And my brother. Swimming in the reefs. Racing with the dolphins. I'm inches away from the surface. Finally the net breaks from me sawing at it and I drop out of the net. I try to swim away but some of the net is still wrapped around my tail digging into my scales making me groan in pain. I feel the waves of the ocean become strong and they crash into me. I look up and see the sky a dark grey. Then I knew a story was coming. An ocean current drags me to shallower water. I try to swim away but then more I try the more the net digs into my tail. It's causing my tail to bleed where it's rubbing in. I see rain hitting the surface of the water. I near a coral reef only feet away from me. I swim closer to the surface to avoid the reef but waves crash into  me pushing me back down. A hugs wave towers over the ocean and crashes down causing me to crash into the reef and then everything goes black.
