A car door closes and 3 more follow.

The boys come walking into the house along with the smell of weed and some random girls I've never seen before.

"I hope you don't mind we picked up some of Courtney's friends."
Ruby says handing me a bottle of sky vodka and a 2 liter of sprite.

"Oh my gosh, you didn't."
I say looking at the bottle then at him.

"I did."
He says with a smile.

"Did I mention that I fucking love you."
I say hugging him.

"Love you more."
He says

When we were younger we would snag a bottle of sky vodka from my mom then walk up to the store and get sprite and stay out all night getting drunk. We would sit and talk about nothing.

"Let's get it poppin!"
I shout and everyone makes noise.

I open the bottle drinking it straight and then chugging my sprite after.

"Damn you can drink."
Shyanne says as I hand her the bottle.

"Your turn."
I say

"Fuck it"
She says downing a fat ass shot or more.

"Tell me you got more than one bottle"
I say to Ruby who's drinking a beer.

"No I got a few."
He says

"And tell me that's not all you're gonna be drinking tonight."
I say looking at his beer than up at him.

"I don't wanna get stupid tonight. You out of all people should know I can't handle my liquor."

"Come on Rubes, you gotta."
I say
He gives me a look then rolls his eyes.

"Great it's settled."
I say pulling him to the kitchen.

Taking another bottle off the counter handing it to him.

"You first."
He says with a smirk licking his lips.

I down half the bottle without a chaser handing it to him.

"Is it wrong for that to turn me on."
He says

"Just fucking drink it."
I say with a laugh.

He chugs the other half of the bottle.

I drink more and start to feel it my vision starts to blur and I go to check on Shyanne. She's taking shots and hanging out with everyone in the living room I watch with a smile.

"Y'all are my people."
I say with the biggest smile.

"Come here shawty."
Scrim says as he turns the music up.

I walk up to him with a bottle and unlit blunt in hand.

Prblms by 6lack blasting on the tv.

We start to mouth every word to each other dancing face to face.

When the beat goes a little heavier I set the bottle down and slowly move my hips to the beat looking back while I move them. Shyanne hyped me up then the other girls join in pretending to throw money in me.

Suddenly I feel hands on my hips guiding them. I turn to see Scott but I don't care I stay in my own little world still dancing. I don't notice when Ruby comes from his room when I turn around I place my hand on Scott's shoulder and continue to dance. We start to sing along to the lyrics

"So I found me a real thing, I'm not as lost as you think. Got plenty queens in my hometown all they need is drank and that dank."

The song ends and we all smile and laugh. I grab Scott pulling him into a hug.

"Fuck I missed you."
I whisper in is ear.

Now seeing Ruby leaning against the wall with a straight face.

"I missed you too."
He says as I pull away.

I walk up to Ruby.

"What's up?"
I question

"Nothing just watching."
He says standing straight now

"You down to drink more?"
I ask, lighting the blunt in my hand taking a few hits than handing it to him.

"Thought You didn't wanna smoke in the house?"
Ruby questions.

"Fuck it."
I say before walking back to the party.
