Show Day

"Hey Cherry I'm gonna head home. Thank you for inviting me I had a great time."
Shyanne says when I step inside.

"Yeah no problem, text me as soon as you get home."
I give her a hug.

"Of course."
She says walking away.

"Yeah I think we're gonna head out too."
Kevin says.

"Alright well it was nice meeting you guys it's cool you guys were in town at the same time as the boys."
I say looking around for Ruby.

"It was so nice meeting you, you always pop up in conversations when we're with the boys I can only image how much they talk about you when they're alone."
Courtney says, then gives me a hug.

"We should definitely have another night like this."
I suggest

"That we should."
Kevin says.

I say my last goodbyes then walk down to the room that Ruby is in.

I lightly knock on the door.

"Come in"
He says

I peek my head in and he's sitting on the bed with his phone in his hands. He sees me and turns it off looking at me.

"Whats the deal Rubes?"
I question.

"What's the deal?"
He says like it's obvious.

"You fucked him."
He finishes

"And you're mad?"
I ask a confused look on my face

"No I'm not mad."
He rolls his eyes

"Then what?"
I say shutting the door walking over to him.

"I'm disappointed."

For some reason that stung a little more.

"What the fuck."
I say standing in front of him.

"Why him?"
He asks confused

"Because he was there."

"What the fuck, I was there I am here I've been here. I kissed you Cher, that wasn't enough to show you how I feel"

He looks up at me with hurt in his eyes.

"This isn't how it's supposed to be Rubes."
I take his hand in mine.

"I don't want to do that shit with you I love you too much you're not supposed to look at me like that."

"I can't help it Cher, you've been here. You know me better than anyone."
He looks down at our hands.

"I'm not fuckin cheesy, I don't get jealous."

"Then don't, why would you especially with me?"
I back up a little still holding his hand in mine.

"Because like I said, you've been here this whole time. You don't post shit about me you don't brag that you know me. You're here cause you know me and that's enough."

"Oh god."
I pull his head into my chest hugging him.

"Stop being a sap Ruby I love you, you're my best friend and I wouldn't want anything to ruin that"
He wraps his arms around my waist.

"I'm sorry I can't help how I feel, I always push my emotions so deep inside of me."

"Can we please just go back to normal?"
I say hugging him tighter.

"No shit."
He says dragging me onto the bed not breaking our hug.

"Are you ready for your show?"
I laugh

"Are you gonna come?"
He questions, letting go of me he sits up and looks at me.

"Yeah but I wanna be in the crowd."
I say also sitting up

"Why you can watch from backstage."
He says

"I want the full experience."
I stand up walking to the door.

"Well you'll be right in the front since we'll get there before everyone."

"Can't wait."
I say leaving the room.
