The house was blood red with roses. I stood in awe as he caught up with me. "Welcome home," he said from behind me. I almost felt his breath hit my naked neck.
"Isn't this a little romantic?" I unintentionally spoke out my thoughts. Immediately my hand ran to my mouth and I cursed under my breath. "It's just flowers," he came back at me. I stood on the side, giving him space to pass through. "Come I show you your space," he said as if nothing had just happened.
"Space?....wait! Are we sharing a room?!" I felt all the skin on my face assemble on my forehead. He turned around and I saw a smirk on his face. "Now wouldn't that be interesting," he said, letting go of my bags to fold his arms. I stood in shock at stared at him straight in the eyes, "You have got to be kidding me! Am sleeping on the couch!" I said standing akimbo and doing a mental scan of the couch. "Noone is sleeping on the couch but if you dozed off I would make an exception." "I can't sleep with YOU!"
He laughed softly turning back and grabbing my bags, "This house has two bedrooms, genius." I felt my face flash red. How very stupid it was of me. I hadn't even seen most part of the house and here I was..... Stupid!
He just called me genius. That sarcastically means dumb head, right?! Aaarrghh i hate this I wanna go back to Campus!
I slowly followed behind him after a moment of gaining my composure. He didn't turn around after that awful remark, and quite honestly I was glad he didn't. Imagine him seeing me flashing red like that.
The spare bedroom was super cosy. There were splashes of pink and purple, here and there. I knew he had had it done specifically for my arrival because this room was so different to the rest of the house but I wasn't about to ask and have my head bitten off. "Its...," I was about to pass a comment when his phone rang and he held up one hand to say I should give him a moment.
"Mom really?....... Yes... Yes she is...," then there was a longer pause. "Yeees mother I will. Yes yes yes but I have to go now...." He looked up at me for a moment then he said, "I'll let her know mom, bye now." Then he hung up. He didn't say anything to me. He only just started explaining about the house setup. "On Sundays am usually working or have games with the boys but you can invite female friends over anytime, even for sleepovers....just don't overdo it. I really don't have any rules. Feel at home."
"And male friends," I asked with evil intentions and a smirk I knew wasn't too good on my face. "You are not allowed to have any." As my mouth dropped ajar he turned and left. I followed his frame out the door and stood still for a moment in complete shock. And he hadn't even told me what his mother had said. The nerve of that man!
I would like to believe the real story or drama begins from this point forth....buh that's just me. Please please comment and vote. Thanks xxxx
