"we won't be staying here for a long time because the police might plan out again to capture you two" mark said as he quietly opens his apartment door from his past apartment house.
they luckily manage to sneak out an available room, coincidentally it was mark's.
"me and donghyuck used to live together here, anyway let's treat you both now". He added before he and jeno place jaemin on the couch.
mark started doing jaemin's wounds, pulling off the bullet from his shoulder like a surgeon while jeno was worriedly assisting him, can't take watching jaemin in pain.
after several minutes, jaemin was already bandaged on his wound, sighing in relief while he rests on the couch.
mark prepares them food afterwards, leaving him and jeno alone in the dark living room with only the lamp shade and the television lights their whole area.
"are you fine now?" jeno asked as he sit beside jaemin.
jaemin opens his other hand letting jeno to lean on it.
he gives him a smile as he nod his head. "you? They beat you heavily earlier" jaemin asked back.
"the long ride makes me gain back my energy, i manage my own wounds while mark was treating you" he replied.
"it's good to hear then" jaemin utters, leaning his head back making him to slightly face upwards.
he then pats his shoulder signaling jeno to lean on it, jeno was hesitant yet he always wanted to cuddle with him ever since so he quickly lean his head while both of his hands were wrapped around jaemin's body.
only hearing each other's breathing, heartbeat and the television.
"i was wondering" jaemin mutters between their moment so jeno slightly raise his head to face him.
"i never thought we could reach this part of our lives, you know that?" his voice is getting deeper and cranky maybe because of suffering so much with only the wants to rest himself but he wanted to talk to jeno very much.
"i always bring pain to you, from the start" he added before he pause.
jeno resses his lips together then he lean back on jaemin's shoulder, nuzzling his head even more making the other to slighrly tickled from his pointy hair.
"i never regret it, actually" jeno mutters.
jaemin slightly hum in confusion. "meeting you was the best thing" the other added.
a smile form on both of their lips.
jeno rises up from leaning now facing jaemin directly with both of their legs on top of the couch.
he move closer enough to let their legs could touch each other so jarmin adjusts himself to get him and jeno a better position.
"i know you're not a bad person, even if how much crimes you make i know you still have that goodness from within you, i believe on it" jeno added.
