Chapter 10

Perrie's POV

I woke in the morning to a text from Alex

A-morning beautiful, how did you sleep?x

P-morning handsome, I had a good sleep, thinking about someone special x

A-hmm nobody important I hope ;) x

P-just someone, gorgeous, handsome, funny, talented but not important at all x

He was such a gentleman, I literally can't. He makes me smile through one simple text, makes me laugh just thinking about him. I suddenly realised that it was 10am and I had work in half an hour. Looked like it would be a messy bun a no make-up day. I ordered my uber and it arrived within a minute. I jumped in the car and told him where to take me. He dropped me off and I 'ran', I say ran, it was more a brisk walk, into the building before apologising for being late. I walked into the writing room and greeted the girls. Luckily I didn't get shanked by management for being late. The girls were literally just sat there talking between themselves, I quickly joined the conversation and got another text from Alex

A-did I make you late?x

P-nah it's fine, management literally didn't notice x

A-good, good I miss you, can you come over tonight?x

P-I miss you too, I'll be there at around 5:30 ish x

A-good, good see you then x

Ooh who you texting? Jade teased, I blushed, bright red. They were on to me, I mean don't get me wrong, I was going to tell them but just not right now. I'd only told them about the one date, I kept the other ones quiet. Caught off guard Jesy stole the phone out of my hand and now I was done for, they all knew my password and I hadn't had a chance to change it. They all crowded around Jesy, and were sure to read Alex's name first, he was the last person I'd spoken to.     WAIT YOU'VE BEEN ON MORE THAN ONE DATE???? Leigh-Anne screamed in my ear. "yeah" I said sheepishly. "AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO TELL US THIS BECAUSE?" Jesy continued. "I thought about it but decided against it. "So what's going on between you two?" Jade asked, slightly more calmly than the other two. Well we've been on three dates, the one you knew about at Nando's, I cooked for him and we went on one yesterday evening. "And.." they all said in sync. He asked me to be his girlfriend last night. "I SWEAR TO GOD PEZ IF YOU DIDN'T SAY YES I'M GOING TO THROW THIS CHAIR AT YOU" Jesy screamed again. "Calm down woman, yes of course I said yes, I mean have you seen him? I replied. The girls screamed. Really loud. And then just to make it even better jumped on me. Who am I kidding? I love these girls, the fact that we were 4 young girls and they were still happy for me at the fact I had a boyfriend was truly special. I suppose it epitomised our friendship. We'd be happy for each other no matter what. We'd be there for each other no matter what. Love, heartbreak, you name it, these girls have got my back through it at some point. We were a force to be reckoned with and people everywhere were going to know who we were. 

Alex's POV

It was now half 4 so about an hour before Perrie came, my ultimate plan was to get her to meet my sister properly, sort of. Speak of the devil, she trudged through the door in her football kit. She dumped her bags in the hallway, all three of them. I swear that girl does too much sport, a football kit bag, a PE bag and a school bag. I don't know how she does it all, or where she gets all her talent from. She plays regional football and basketball, runs for regional's, plays 3 musical instruments (flute, piano, guitar), sings and gets basically straight straight A's in her three A-levels. She puts the rest of the family to shame really. She walked into the lounge and hugged me and asked me how my day was before walking upstairs to get changed. I got another text from Perrie

P- work ran over I'll be over at 6ish x

A- okay don't worry, I'll still be waiting x

A- did that sound desperate?x

P-nah it's cute :) x

A- if you say so :) x

"What you smiling at?" my sister's voice snapped me out of my trance

"Nothing" I replied

"Yeah right, give me that" my sister told me and snatched the phone out of my hand

"OMG are you and Perrie still talking? Is she coming over? Do you want me to go?" my sister bombarded me with questions

"Chill, chill, yeah we're still talking, yeah she's coming over, no I don't want you to go, you deserve to meet my girlfriend after all" I answered the questions

"okay, okay, wai, WAIT DID YOU JUST SAY GIRLFRIEND???????" my sister screamed at the realisation

I laughed and nodded, she bundled on top of me, at least she was happy and hopefully they'd get along. I can't have my two favourite girls not getting on can I? It was 5:45 so Perrie would be over in about 15 minutes. I had no idea what we were going to do but I guess we'll just see where the rest of the day took us.
