Chapter 13

Perrie's POV

I was sat on the sofa next to Alex, we were snuggled under a blanket watching 'A Star Is Born', I'd watched it already but none of them had and I was completely fine with watching it again. I could feel my eyes slowing shutting as Alex rubbed circles on my back, why was he so comforting. I couldn't lose him because otherwise I would crumble, my heart would shatter into a million different pieces. What was wrong with me? It was literally 1pm, we hadn't even eaten lunch yet and I was falling asleep. 

The film had just finished a lunch was now ready, I was so hungry, I was so looking forward to the food, from what I'd been told from both Alex and Mads, their mum was a fantastic cook. I sat at the table next to Alex and opposite his parents. He had his hand on my thigh as his mum brought out the food to the table. Why did even that turn me on slightly? This boy was doing things to me that I didn't know were possible. 

Wendy brought out the food and I would say it smelt amazing but for obvious reasons, I won't. There was roast potatoes, all different kinds of meat, it was like Christmas already! I ate it all plus pudding was still to come. 

Alex's POV

I could tell my family loved Perrie already, I knew they would but it was so important to me that everyone got on there was always going to be some nerves inside of me. Mum had already done wonders with the main course and I knew exactly what was for pudding. I watched as Perrie's face lit up at the sight of a chocolate bomb coming her away. Believe it or not, I do listen to my girlfriend. We all finished dinner and went back to the living room. I then realised that we hadn't taken Perrie's stuff to my room so I decided to give her a little tour of upstairs. I showed her Maddie's room, she would kill me if she knew, it's littered with Little Mix merch. Posters, calendars, albums. I watched Perrie's face break into a smile as she took it all in. "wow she really is our biggest fan" she said "yeah, from 2011 to now, she's been obsessed, you will never realise how much you helped her without knowing it" I replied, maybe this was one of the things that first attracted me to this wonder woman. Knowing the impact she had on my sister made me want to get to know her better, find the girl behind the photos, know the real Perrie. I'd found most of her, there was a few bits that I hadn't dug into yet but these things took time and I had all the time in the world for this girl. I showed her Christian's room and then took her to mine. Thankfully it was clean, I made a mental note to thank mum later. I dragged her bags to the side of the bed before sitting on the bed, with Perrie following suit. She wrapped her arms around me snuggling into my side. I kissed the side of her head and just stared at her. It sounds creepy but when you're girlfriend looks as good as mine does you can't really blame me. 

After 20 minutes we decided to head back downstairs. Perrie kept talking to Mads which warmed my heart immensely, to know that they got on so well was just fantastic. I chatted to my brother having not seen him for ages, he was keeping me updated on how life was going down in Portsmouth. He wasn't getting as much game time a he wanted so was thinking of going out on loan for the rest of the season. I personally think it would be a good idea as I had been in his position and a move away would've been great for me but I ended up getting injured before I could go. Change was good, he'd never been anywhere other than Portsmouth so it would be best for him. I was obviously still injured now so I was able to come down to London for the weekend as the physio was giving me a later start on Monday mornings which was good. 

Before we knew it, it was 9 in the evening and I was shattered from driving down early-ish this morning. I could tell Pez was tired as well as her eyes were fluttering shut and she was fighting to keep them open. I looked over at my sister who was out on the couch. Bless her. 

I excused Perrie and I and we headed upstairs. We got changed and lay under the covers for a while just listening to each others breaths. There was something strangely satisfying about it. Soon enough we both fell asleep wrapped in each others arms.

A/N so this chapter was kinda bad, sorry it was really rushed because I've been so busy and I wanted to get a chapter out for you guys. Also I wrote it on my iPad so autocorrect might have changed some words.
