Chapter 15

Alex's POV

I'd just woken up and had been greeted by breakfast in bed by my gorgeous girlfriend. Wow, it must be late if she was awake before me. I patted the space next to me, inviting her to come and sit i the bed with me. I finished the pancakes with a little help from Perrie and jumped in the shower. Once I was done in the shower I got dressed into some jeans and a t-shirt along with a smart/casual jacket. I got a nod of approval from Perrie and walked downstairs to greet the rest of her family for the first time this morning. I was even more nervous today than I was yesterday, I'm meeting her Dad and whilst I'm sure he's lovely, it doesn't mean I'm not completely shitting myself about it all. I think Perrie could sense my nervousness as she wrapped her arm around me and rubbed down my back before cuddling into me, whispering sweet nothings in my ear. It did the trick, however cliche it was. 

I said goodbye to her mum, aunt and cousin and walked out the door. The nerves had all come back and I didn't have much time to settle them. I followed the satnav to her Dad's which was only about a 10 minute drive away, just across the town. Like before as soon as we reached the driveway she kissed me and told me it would all be okay, this time I had to believe her, she was right yesterday. 

Perrie rang the door bell and her dad answered. I shook his hand and smiled, he introduced himself as Alexander. Wow, two Alexander's, at least we had something in common. I also met her step-sister Caitlin and her step-mum. They were all really nice people as I expected and made me feel really welcome. Me and her Dad had good conversation about football, he was really interested in how I felt about Liverpool and stuff. It was really nice to have a chat with him and he told me some great stories about Perrie. Ha! I'll be using them against her in the future. 

We have just finished up dinner and it was such a lovely meal. It was so nice to see how Caitlin looked up to Perrie, it reminded me of my sister. Speaking of Mads, I need to go and see her soon. I looked at the time and it was 8 already, me and Perrie needed to leave, she had work in the morning and I had physio. 

I bade her family goodbye and thanked them for a lovely day. We got in the car and Perrie smirked at me, "whattt?" I whined, "I told you they'd love you" she replied, I let out a loud laugh and drove down the driveway.

We were about 2 hours away from home, I was tired and bored. Perrie had already fallen asleep so I had nobody to talk to, my knee was also hurting slightly from the constant on and off pressure. When we finally got to our house, I had to work out a way to carry my sleeping beauty into the house and upstairs to our room. I opened the door first and then went back to the car, picking up her bridal style and carrying her upstairs as quickly as possible. I felt bad about stripping her but I didn't want her to wake up in the middle of the night uncomfortable. I eventually got her top and jeans off and just put her in one of my t-shirts so it was long on her. How she stayed asleep is beyond me but that was my girlfriend for you. I got myself dressed and got into bed beside her.

Perrie's POV

I woke up in one of Alex's t-shirts and without Alex next to me. Bless, he must've struggled so much getting me out of my clothes yesterday. I walked downstairs as quietly as possible and walked behind him, scaring him. He almost dropped the eggs he was frying, he was so scared. "Morning sleeping beauty" he said "morning handsome" I replied before kissing him. 

We sat and ate the scrambled eggs on toast in a comfortable silence. He looked tired, that drive yesterday must've taken a lot out of him. Still I knew he was going to go full out in the gym today, he was desperate to play again and it was killing him not being able to be out there with the rest of the boys. I on the other hand had interviews all day, I didn't particularly want to go to them, it would be the same questions over and over and over again, the same statements as always, generally it would go along the line of "you girls are actually friends" or "I heard a rumour that..." or "any solo careers on the cards" like no, shut the f up and just let us be us as a band, oh and yeah, we do write our own songs. Still, people don't seem to learn. 

My taxi had just picked me up and for the first time I don't think I'm going to be late. Shock horror, I didn't sleep in! I arrived at the building to meet the girls and texted Alex to tell him I'd arrived safely. Aaron sorted my hair and Heidi did my makeup so that I looked presentable for television. 

We had just finished up the last interview of the day. Thank God! I was shattered. I'm pretty sure the girls were planning on staying the night because they all got in the taxi with me. I told them to get their boyfriends over as well so that Alex wasn't left out because I knew we'd drive him insane otherwise. I looked at Jes sadly but she smiled back at me claiming she was alright. We knew she wasn't, she'd probably break down at some point about everything but she had us girls there for a reason. I texted Alex to give him the heads up about everyone coming over so he wasn't too surprised. He was fine with it so that was good, for the rest of the journey me and the girls just talked about the most shitty questions we'd had that day. Ahh I love these girls so much, they make everything so much easier. It's like having 3 other me's and it's just the best thing ever. I know we said it in every single interview today but we are never going to split up, it would be like losing a leg or an arm. I couldn't think of a life without these girls. 

A/N sorry it's taken me a while to update, I've been so busy with sixth form options and revision for my mocks. 

I hope you enjoyed the chapter, the long paragraph from Perrie was literally a rant at every single interviewer ever. Like leave my girls alone, they love each other, they're not gonna split up.
