Perrie's POV
I woke up feeling slightly better than I did last night, still not great but feeling secure under Alex's arm. I buried my head back into his side not one part of me wanting to move. I felt Alex move from underneath and groaned as the warmth suddenly went. "you okay baba?" he asked concern evident in his voice, "a bit better but not great" I replied honestly. "Stay there than bubba I'll bring you breakfast" he told me. Hmm, that sounded like an idea and I didn't have the energy to move from under the duvet.
15 minutes later and my handsome boyfriend pushed the bedroom door open holding a tray of food and 2 mugs of hot chocolate. I smiled at the thought that he had put into the breakfast. Waffles, toast with poached egg that I could dip in like soldiers just as I did as a kid. Seems he does listen to what I say. He climbed back under the covers to eat his breakfast next to me, he had scrambled egg on toast and it looked really good so I did him a swap, one poached egg and toast for one slice on scrambled egg on toast.
I'd finished my breakfast and Alex had taken all the plates and mugs downstairs to put into the dishwasher. I still felt rough and I really didn't want to leave my bed, in fact all I wanted was Alex though I was pretty sure he was meant to go back up to Liverpool today. Still, he walked back into the room and came back into bed with me, seems he isn't going back after all, I'm not complaining though, I needed his hugs.
We were halfway through our second movie of the day when last night's pain came back to me and the sharp shooting pain was back in my stomach. It felt like someone had stabbed a sharp knife into my intestines and was twisting it around until I finally gave in and just fell there and then. Quite honestly, I felt like I was going to pass out any time now but I was trying to stay quiet because I didn't want Alex to worry.
Alex's POV
I could tell Pez wasn't feeling well again so I paused the movie and pulled her into a tight hug as her tears soaked my t-shirt. Suddenly, she bolted up and ran straight for the bathroom, with me following closely behind. Once again she bent over the toilet and emptied the contents of her stomach and once again I pulled her hair out of her face. Shame I thought I did quite well for breakfast.
It was about 5 minutes later and she still hadn't stopped throwing up, I was seriously worried now, there can't have been anything left in her stomach. She'll be throwing her organs up next. Finally the retching sound stopped and flopped down onto me, tears still falling from those eyes that even in times like this, still manage to captivate me. I kissed her temple and let her cry until she had pretty much calmed down before starting on the topic of taking her to the doctors. I know she didn't want to, she was stubborn and convinced she would get better, but I needed to take her, so I could have the comfort that she's okay and there's nothing seriously wrong.
We were now in the car after I had finally convinced her to go to the doctors just so she can prove to me that there was nothing wrong with her. Unfortunately it was midday by now so all the traffic was out and just outside of London that's not good, what should be a 40 minute journey was turning into a 2 hour one and I was concerned by the sleeping state of my girlfriend. Not the sleeping part because if anything that reassured me that she was somewhere near normal. More the fact I was terrified she was going to throw up in my car which was cleaned last week and whilst she couldn't smell, I could.
We had finally arrived at the doctors and I was trying to shake Perrie awake, which didn't seem to be working, worrying me further still. I was contemplating pouring my cold water over her to wake her up but it seems she read my thoughts and woke up at that very moment. "Come on babe, we're here" I said almost as a whisper. She slowly looked like she was becoming aware of her surroundings, I opened my door and jogged round to her side to open her door and help her out of the car. I took her arm as we walked to the main building and stood in a queue in reception, noting Perrie's cold state, I took off my jumper and handed it to her to put it on. She smiled weakly as a thank you and put it on. Eventually we got to the front of the queue and I explained what was wrong with Pezza to the receptionist in as much detail as possible. She noted it all down and told us to wait in the room just through the set of doors on the right.
We walked into the room and stared and the shear amount of people in it, it was going to be a long, long, long wait before Perrie was seen and she didn't look as though she could stay awake for another 10 minutes. We took a seat in the corner as I kept checking to see if she was looking any better or worse.
As usual, I was right, 10 minutes later Perrie was asleep on my shoulder. I didn't mind though, right now it was the only thing that made her feel the slightest bit better. The amount of people in the room was pretty much the same as it was earlier, crowded with people. I knew it was going to be a long afternoon but I was willing to do anything for Pez.
A/N wow look at me, 2 updates in 2 days.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter but let me know, in the least weird and horrible way possible, do you want Perrie to be okay or something seriously wrong with her to go with a story line?? Let me know in the comments.
Vote, comment and as usual thank you for reading!
