//Twenty Four — Take My Soul, Sister//

Willa Van der Mariel

I detached myself from the wall when I saw Mason’s familiar car, spin around the corner — which meant he was driving. Maddi, Lottie and I had already got the ticket’s and were now just waiting for the boys.

Fashionably late, of course.

The car parked, and out filed Justin, Chase and my dear fake boyfriend, Mason. He better be thankful I wasn’t telling Maddi that he was blackmailing me into this relationship. Or he probably wouldn’t make it too the end of the movie.

I may or may not feel sorry for him.

My mind quickly flicked back to my odd dream the other day when Mason had come laid down next to me. It had felt so warm, and I had fallen asleep feeling safe. I never felt safe anymore. Especially not falling asleep.

I hadn’t gotten a note in a few days — but the lingering feeling of them being anywhere, was still gripping onto my back.

And now with Georgina on my back, my little friend who sent me notes might just tell her something that she couldn’t know. My breath caught in my throat, and I quickly pulled myself out of my thoughts.

The boy’s were coming towards us, each looking very good looking and I shared a grin with Mason, who lightened up slightly when he saw me. Okay, he lightened up a little more than ‘slightly’ he more like beamed at me — which made my insides squirm for some reason.

It was fake, and everyone here knew that — well, except Maddi.

But, she was dangerous.

Then all the boy’s eye’s flickered to Maddi, and widened slightly. Justin and Chase’s mouths actually parted, but Mason’s didn’t, which was good.

Because fake relationship, m’friend.

“Maddi Zades” Maddi said as a way of greeting. “Willa’s sister”

“Well, Maddi” Justin slurred nearing. “I’m Justin Wild, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance”

She looked over to me, with an amused glint to her eyes before looking back at Justin, and gave him a smirk. “You too, Wild. Now, can we go watch the movie? I rather enjoy horror movies, don’t we Willa?”
“Oh, piss off” I mumbled.

Maddi laughed, while Mason looked slightly surprised at my language. I only swore strongly to Maddi, everyone else wasn’t even worth it. We all headed into the cinema, with me trailing slightly more behind. Mason came up beside me, and breathed his hot breath down my neck. We hadn’t spoken since this morning when he looked in me in a towel — and that was embarrassing.

“I missed you”

I looked over at him, suddenly slightly angry that he was playing with my emotions like that. “We’re in a fake relationship. You don’t need to try and swoon me”

“Ah, but that doesn’t make women fall in love with guy’s swooning?” He questioned.

I shot him a glare. “Enough. I am only doing this to save my skin”
“I never said you were doing it for anything else” A wicked grin came over his face, and my heart erupted in beats. “I must say, your rather comfy to sleep beside”

My jaw dropped. “So, I didn’t imagine it! Thank god! I was so worried” I held my hand to my chest.

Okay, so on the outside I was in relief, but on the inside I was going off in fangirl glee.
