Sam, Dean, and Castiel sat in the kitchen talking about the archangel sleeping on Sam's bed. A loud thump echoed down the hall but no one moved because it was probably Gabriel who tiredly ran into a wall again. It turned out that it wasn't a tired archangel, but an angry one.

Lucifer barged into the kitchen, someone fallowing behind, pulling on his arm telling him to calm down. The group jumped up and watched the unusual thing before them. Lucifer stopped and glared at them, "which one of you idiots made my baby brother cry." He snapped. "Luci, they didn't do anything."

"Of course you would-,"

"Luci. we both know Gabe haven't been well. They have nothing to do with it." Lucifer glanced at the person next to him, then back at the Winchesters, then back. Finally he seemed to relax and he turned to walk away mumbling about how he's going to visit Gabe.

Sam quickly fallowed. "You're not going to visit Gabe alone." Sam said. "He's not alone." The other person pointed out. "I still don't know if I could trust you."

"Sam, please, he's our brother do you really believe we would hurt him? Especially since I came here to kill you for making him cry the other day." Lucifer said rolling his eyes. "Well, with the fact that you came here to kill me is probably why I don't trust you."

"But, I didn't kill you."

"You were still going to. Plus, Gabe is asleep."

"Bye, Sam." Lucifer said closing Sam's bedroom door in his face. Sam opened the door and their two uninvited guests were gone.

Gabriel was still asleep in the bed; his wings were spread out, dropped off of the bed and all over the floor. He lifted his head tiredly and smiled at Sam. "Gmoring." The angel mumbled wiping the spit off of the corner of his mouth.

Sam walked over and sat at the end of the bed, careful to avoid his friends wings. "Your brothers payed us a visit." Sam started. "That's nice of them."

"Lucifer tried to kill me."

"What did you do?" Gabriel asked sitting up and folding his messy wings at his side. "Make you cry apparently."

"Oh, Luci tenses to be a bit over protective."

"I can tell."

"He doesn't mean any harm though. He just," there was a quick pause, "he cares so much about me and Mike that he will kill anyone who causes us any type of pain."

"Then why don't you send him after whoever stabbed your wings?"

"I can't." Gabe said immediately. "Gabe, whatever he's done to is terrible and we can't let him go."

"Sam, I can't send anyone after him because he's dead."

"What? How?"

"I killed him."

"When?"

"When he stabbed me. I didn't mean to, it's like a self defense mechanism. I may or may not have burned him alive."

"That's how you got the burns? I thought it was because you were getting tortured."

"Sammy, do you think I would show any physical signs of torture?"

"No, wait, but it did happen?"

Gabriel froze and looked down. "I don't want to talk about it." He mumbled. "Gabe, I want to help."

"You are helping," Gabriel said quickly looking back at Sam. "It just makes me feel horrible having everyone else do everything for me. I have two awesome big brothers who are constantly worried about me; you, Dean, and Cas who are doing everything to make me feel better. It makes me feel like a burden. You are doing enough right now. You don't need to do anything else; I'll be alright, I promise."
