Everything was a blur. Not like can't remember blur, but like can't see blur. He also can't remember, but that's not currently important. The room seemed new (well, old but it was new to him) and his wing hurt. "Good morning." Lucifer greeted calmly. Lucifer and calm? Something must have happened. "Luci, what's wrong?" He asked rolling into his side to see him. "Nothing, Mikey, go back to sleep." Sleep did sound nice but he wanted to make sure everyone was alright. "Where's Gabey?" He asked. "With Cas."

"Where are we?"

"At the Winchesters' bunker."

"Why are we there?"

"Because something happened."

"I can get that much. What happened?"

"You got worse." Lucifer whispered. "So, is that it? I'm going to die in a bunker by my stupid sickness. Never thought that would happen, or at least any time soon."

"You're not going to die, Mikey. I promise. I won't let it get you."

"Luci, what can we do? We don't even know what it is."

"I have an idea."

"Would that idea involve killing me because I don't think that's how it works. I mean, I won't die by the infection but I'm still dead." Micheal joked, it was painfully noticeable that he just wanted to keep the mood light. "No, I won't kill you." Luci chuckled. "Aw, I wanted to see how it would work."

"Not today, maybe tomorrow."

"Okay, Luci."

"Anyways, my plan is to pretty much cut off your wing to keep it from spreading."

"Oh, fun."

"Yeah."

"Well, I don't want to be awake when that's happening so can you kill me first?"

"I'm not killing anyone."

"Are you sure? Because last angel surgery, blew up."

"Well, that one was stupid."

"It was." Micheal agreed.

"Sammy, I'm sorry." Gabriel apologized again. "Gabe, it's my fault."

"No it's not! I should've been more careful."

"Gabe, I shouldn't've reacted like that."

"No, you had every right to react that way! It's my fault; I should've cleaned up."

"Gabe, that's not the point. The point is, you were in pain and I got mad at you." They went back and forth. It seemed like forever. Gabriel wasn't aloud to be there for the strange, stressful, surgery. Sam almost threw up when it started so he was there keeping Gabe company. Mainly making sure that Gabriel's anxiety didn't get the best of him.

Even though he denies it, he was shaking from nervousness. Sam was quick to learn which wing seemed to hold which emotion. The largest left wing would shake when he's scared; the largest right would tense when he's sad. The bottom left would puff up when he got mad, and the bottom right would flutter softly when he's happy. The top left would curl up when he got embarrassed. The top right, well, that one was always doing something.

"Sammy?" Gabriel said pulling him out of his thoughts. "Yeah?"

"Can we cuddle?" Sam was shocked by the question. It didn't seem like something an archangel would ask. Not even something Gabriel would ask. "Why?"

"Mikey and Luci would cuddle me when I get really worried or nervous." Gabriel explained embarrassed, scratching around his arm. Sam notice that it seems like he does it a lot. "Hey, don't worry about it." He said holding his arms up for Gabriel to climb on his lap. That was exactly what the archangel did.

"You know, it's weird because, well, when I think of archangel it's big, strong, and rude. Not cuddly, sweet, and cute."

"Well, we're full of surprises. I think that mindset came from the story books." Gabriel replayed resting his head against Sam's chest.

They sat like that for who knows how long. Slowly calming down and falling asleep. For a moment it seemed like everything was alright, and maybe, just maybe, they could have a happy ending.

Sorry for taking so long. I didn't know how to finish the chapter. I hope you like the slowly growing Sabriel and the very interesting, cuddly, archangels.
