POV (Kadi)

What did I just do?!

I've been wanting Hayes to ask me out for like... THREE WHOLE FREAKING MINUTES AND THEN I JUST REJECT HIM?!

How did I muster up the courage to DENY HAYES GRIER!

Kadi, you are a real idiot!

How am I ever going to have a chance now?

I blew it.

Now Hayes will never ask again and I just rejected him in front of everyone! Nash is probably laughing his ass of over there thinking I'm a HUGE idiot!

POV (Nash)

I can't believe Hayes actually asked her out!

He has known her- wait i'm going to stop there.

He has SEEN her for three minutes and he has already developed a crush and managed to ask her out.

I walk over to Hayes and he is crying.

"Dude, it's ok. Maybe she just wants to take things slow."

I know I said he would get hurt, but I really had that little glimmer of hope in the back of my mind that she would say yes.

It definitely seemed like she liked him, or maybe she was just blushing because she was with Hayes Grier.

"No. No dude, I don't know why, I just thought she was different. I thought she felt the connection. I thought when I asked her out she would just jump into my arms and say yes. She will never like me the way I like her right now. Huh... stupid." he says and walks off.

Wow... he can't possibly actually like her. He probably just thought she was hot.

But it can't be that beach when she was in the presence of me she didn't blush one bit...

POV (Hayes)

I... I just;

I should have known.

Nash was right,

I got hurt,

And I screwed everything up.

I really thought she liked me.

IM SUCH AN IDIOT!

She probably thinks I'm this guy that just "wants the booty".

I'm not like that and I want to show her! I want to get to know her and tell her how I m each day, I just... I feel close to her;

like I already know her.

Whoaa...

Short chapter again, but at least I finally got it out! Now that summer is over, it has been SOSOSO packed and I just lost track of time!

But that's no excuse and now I'm determined to get a chapter a week at the least!
