Kadi's POV
Ugh, I can't think, I can't sleep, I won't eat, I just can't feel any worse!
I'm Kadi. I'm moving tomorrow, and I'm pissed. My dad is making my sister and I move with him to North Carolina because that's where our new stepmom lives. She's nice and all, but I don't think its fair that we have to go there, when she could just come here! All she has is a teenage son about my age, whereas we have my little sister to drag along too.
Also, I have friends here! It's wayy harder for a GIRL my age to make friends in a new state than a BOY my age. Girls are so much more judgy than guys. I'm sure Brent, Mr. Popular, will have no trouble making friends here in New Jersey!
"Kadiii"
That's my sister. A lot of the time, she wants to sleep in my bed with me because she likes "the big bed with the big fluffy pillows and big blankets" because she's a "big girl".
"Kadi pull me up!"
I feel a tug on my covers, and then they pull off of the bed completely, exposing that im only wearing a big T-shirt and underwear to bed...
"Alright, alright!" I say as I pull Gretchen up on my bed, along with my covers.
"ahhh, your covers are warm." she says kind of sleepily. "goodnight" she says and soon after I hear the small buzz of her tiny snore. I roll my eyes, turn the other way and try my best to fall asleep. I can't avoid tomorrow, stalling isn't gunna help.
