"Hey um Hayes, I..."
I can't tell him this!
I want him to ask me out again anyway!
"I... can't wait to get going!" I try to save myself.
"Great!" he says and holds the door open for me.
He hands me a flower that I can see he picked out of his garden and trimmed because his garden has these same flowers. Either way, he's such a gentlemen.
We walk to the ice cream store and we share a banana split. He lets me talk for hours at a time just listening and staring at me.
"Hey" he interrupts.
"Yes?" I ask. I THINK THIS IS THE BIG MOMENT!
"Will you please give me a chance and be my girlfriend?" he asks. Aww he looks like a puppy how can I say no!?
"Yes, of course!" I exclaim. I'm so glad he asked. I don't know what I was doing in the first place.
"Well now I have a question," he implies. "Why did you say no I'm the first place?" he asks with a puzzled and hurt look.
"I honestly don't know. I was in shock. I really liked you and I never thought you would ask me on the first day I moved in. I'm sorry." I say and I hug him.
Hayes smiles. I reach my arm closer to his and intertwine our fingers.
We just stare in to each other's eyes for what feels like eternity.
...
We leave the ice cream shop, we walk around for a little and finally go to see a movie. We watch Maze Runner.
...
After the movie, we walk home and Hayes walks me to my doorstep like a gentlemen.
"Thank you, for giving me a chance." he says with a smile.
