<Lance pov>

Two weeks.

Two weeks and I am done. My Children are complete monsters. All the crying, the whining, and the drama. I mean, Kitty Skipping, Damon being a little brat the last few days, then Keith trying to play it off.

Now I'm gonna be stuck with them for another year in a spaceship... what did I sign myself up for?

<Tape 1: Test 1>

Katherine: Test one, test one two three! All clear on my side!

Damon: Wow! It's like the messages Papa sent down when he was gone!

Katherine: Thats right, you are going to send the same messages down to Abuela and Abuelo and Los Primos in Cuba. Say hi! *Waves*

Damon: Oh! *Waves* *giggling* Hi Abuela, hola Abuelo!

Keith: *Shouts* What are you two doing?

Katherine: Nothing!

I watched as Keith scolded the two, who had been messing with stuff all day. It was our first full day in quarantine. First of a month. It was us six, Philip Griffin, a few other crew members. The kids didn't especially like the idea of staying  put away for a month. And the fact that it was without their stuff, it just made it worse.

"Dad..dd.y I ca..nt find Gigi!" Damon whaled as we started to get ready for bed. I let my eyes shut as Keith cradled him, and I could feel the tension around the room.

Keith quietly sh-ed him, I could tell he was having second thoughts about this again. "Buddy, you gotta be quiet for other people now. I told you that we had to let the Garrison People clean GiGi before he came to space with us." Damon ended up with a hand over his mouth for about fifteen minutes until he calmed down. "You ready for bed buddy?" I heard after a while of silence. I looked over, noticing it was only seven o'clock. "Okay, night Lance." He said, placing a kiss on my forehead as he walked away with the small boy.

This month could either get better, or way worse.

And so, it got worse.

First, Damon's GiGi did come in after the first week, but he had refused to go a back to sleeping on his own, because GiGi was no longer light green, but vibrant green from it's wash treatment. He thought they had replaced it, so we have a kid trying to solve a false mystery about a stuffed cat thing. Then, a few days in, Kitty decided that Philip Griffin must be the coolest thing since space travel, cause all she does it talk and hang out with him. Not the Griffin children, just him. And Keith keeps trying to make sense of everything, because now he ahs to be the bigger man in the situation and say we should be doing this. Quote on quote "For the good of the people."

Now I even have Commander Griffin breathing down my neck about getting everyone together. All of us getting together to do something. He won't even tell me what. All he said was "Blah blah blah, bond with your crew, blah blah blah." Can't stand that guy.

Oh, and, even though Philip Griffin is in quarantine, and still will be for two months instead of one because of genetic illnesses in his bloodline, Elena is in the hospital! Lung cancer stage 3, evolving into cardiac tumors. Keith's been really worked up about it, but he still hasn't gotten to see her in person. They've been talking almost daily over the monitors, which we are thankful to have multiple of now.

Near to the middle of the month, I saw Kitty staying closer to me, and a very brooding Phil not leaving the training room till the early hours of the morning, only to sit on his bunk till everyone left for breakfast. I tried talking with her, but she when I mentioned Phil she would just lean on me, getting all quiet. The only thing left to do... wake up mama bear.

We were all sitting down to have breakfast, the whole crew at two long tables, 20 people at each. We were at the less full of the two, maybe 16 people around us. I defiantly knew everyone, I wouldn't try this if I didn't.

I scooted towards Keith, our waists touching. He looked up, sharing eye contact with me for a second before going back to eating. I leaned onto his shoulder and he stiffened up, sighing before he looked down at me. My eye had a soft but direct eye contact with him when I glanced at our daughter mouthing "boys" up to y husband.

My head shot up as Keith nearly leaped around me, only giving me second to turn around and watch the two walking off as Kitty started to sob into his shoulder. I held up Damon's head as his eyes drooped close. I kept eating, noticing that the eyes were all on me. "Kids, am I right?" That got a few laughs from the other parents in the crew, some glares from younger side.

I knew that the crew would start to warm up the longer we were in quarantine, that's just how it worked. Before a few weeks ago, some of these people didn't even know each other. Keith's been talking with this stu- this girl who's gonna be on our orbital crew, and then thankfully stay at the orbital station. He keeps talking after meals, or he'll train with her. She's a cadet, so it's not like he'll do anything, but he keeps almost flirting with her, and then when I bring it up he gets all bossy saying I am just jealous.

Yeah, cause when we were almost married, I was the one who forced their partner to wear the engagement ring everywhere we went to make sure no one would hit on them. Yeah, because I'm the one who checked up on their spouse every five minutes when he went out of town on a business trip, that was defiantly me. Oh, oh, and  when my spouse talked to his niece over the phone, I defiantly glared at him, making disgusted face till he was done and then questioning him ove who that was and why I was saying baby girl.

Cause I'm the jealous one.

Keith did warn me about how Kitty had asked Philip about dating and how he said no, which would explain the anxiety bouncing off of him and my daughter. At first she was sad, but now she was just glad to watch him at midnight getting his ass handed to him by the simulator.

Damon had also finally adjusted to the people around him, and already found a really nice engineer, Brian, to irritate with a million questions. Thank god he isn't asking me those questions anymore.

It was the last day of quarantine and of course this was when Keith decided to get all clingy like usual. He didn't even want to get up, not that I'm complaining about sleeping in. It was now noon and we were still in bed, and I was starting to get a little fed up.

"Keith, we gotta get up." I heard some grumbling as I tried to get up, his arms staying wrapped around my waist. "Fine, you left me with no options." He knew it would come to this, it always comes to this.

I us my core to slowly stand up with Keith wrapped around me, his legs now crossed at my waist and his arms around my neck. He barely weighed anything to me, I was so used to carrying him when we were dating, it's like nothing anymore. He groaned as he started to walk out into the main area. I went to sit down but he clung to me tightly. I sighed, slowly sitting down on the ground as he laid on top of me. I felt my parent senses kicking in, looking up to see a very worried looking Kitty with a very interested Damon peering at us from the corner with markers in hand and Philip asleep in front of them. "He's just tried before you ask, and what are you doing?" I asked the last part, then realizing I wasn't going to be able to chase after the two, and as I realized that, Kitty did to.

"Damon run!"
