The fans on the ceiling were turn off. The portable air-conditioners were turned on instead. It was very quiet in the room. Everyone was out there helping every single patients and victims. Noises and screams were heard from the temporary ward room. The room is pretty cosy and cooling.

I am lying on the bed with my furry eyes closed, my tails started wagging on it's own as Marshall slept on his wheelchair, hugging me while laying his head on my body when he's sleeping. His tail is definitely wagging alright. Bedsheets were over the both of us, the letter that I read is now on the cabinet beside the bed, being suppressed by a glass of water on top of it. The whole room is filled with peace and silence.
Marshall woke up suddenly as he stretches his paws and back legs. He gave a small little yawn and noticed that I was asleep. He pushes the wheelchair closer to me and patted softly on my forehead, which was badly bruised from the nuclear fallout.

I woke up and saw Marshall touching my furry head with a bandage around it. I smiled at Marshall and he smiled back to me. "Feeling better Chase?" Marshall said. "I'm good when you're around Marshall. What happened? How did you end up in the operation room and how we can't find you? We were so worried... Marshall nodded his head and he started to share his flashback to me.
"Chase....I know you cared about me. During that time......"
Suddenly, a flashback came to Marshall's mind...........
