Dee Dee sat at the dining table with the other twelve or so guest. She looked around, rubbing her stomach. The food was said to be of many dishes which were brought from the neighboring towns, and cities of the leaders who sat at the table with her. Lucky for Dee Dee, she didn't have to wait very long to eat. She looked up and saw Princess walking to the head of the table; she then took her glass filled with a light purple liquid and raised her glass. As she spoke, the servants entered into the kitchen and laid the food onto the table. Each of the guest were given their own plate, even so, Dee Dee wasn't so sure what she was eating. None of the food looked familiar to her. Even the meat seemed...different. The last thing she wanted to do was seem rude especially in front of all these people, so she simply held her tongue. And as she ate along with everyone else, she looked around to see if any one else had a confused expression on their face. Not so much, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their dinner. It was then Dee Dee decided to tell herself to relax and enjoy what was in front of her. Besides, if she didn't like it, she would be on her way home anyway and could just eat something when she got back to Kansas.
There was a pop within the evening. Dee Dee along with the other guest looked up toward the ceiling. The sound slowly faded away and they all exchanged looks. Dee Dee again, still slightly new to the area didn't think anything of it-until she heard it again. One of the men who was the leader of his own territory who wore a light blue suit with a poked dotted tie, wiped his mouth.
"Are we being attacked," he asked, with some what of an English accent. Everyone else at the table turned to Princess including Dee Dee. She was about to speak but was interrupted by the dining hall doors opening. They slammed against the wall and Princess stood up at her chair. Dee Dee wasn't able to tell if she was upset because the door slammed against the walls or because her dinner was being interrupted. The sound came again...
This time, they all stood up. It was clear many at the table thought they were being under attacked. Dee Dee turned to Princess. The two of them met eyes and Dee Dee took her napkin from her lap, and placed it on the table. She ran out the doors, doing so two guards ran behind her. They were in search of Jefro.
Dee Dee held her light yellow, dress up so she wouldn't trip on the train. Her and the two guards went out the back doors and stopped in their tracks. In the sky that had since darkened, were flying monkeys from the west.
"Why are they starting this so early?" One of the guards asked.
Dee Dee looked at him. "What do you mean?"
"She's not even the queen yet...what, they plan to over take us now?" The same guard asked.
