You can't help falling in love

Today is my first day at this new high school, I've been pretty nervous since my parents made us move out of Canada. I mean 'us' as in my sister and I. They said Canada was 'too cold' for their lifestyle, so we moved to Florida by Long Branch.

One of the reasons I agreed to the move was because in Florida there is Universal Studios, which means Harry Potter. Yes, like Harry Potter, which was also another reason to move. I was getting bullied at school for being a 'nerd' and posting videos of me singing on vine. Yes, I sing and I know what you're thinking, why would you post videos on vine, that is the most ridiculous idea, that will get you shoved in a locker. Luckily, I'm too tall to fit in a locker and I have the best sister. Even though she is younger than me, she always has my back when it comes to anything. She once dumped her lemonade on the most popular boy in school just because he stepped on my shoes causing me to fall and spill my lunch all over me. Not that he didn't deserve it, he's the one who has bullied me, my whole life, and I have no idea why. So those are the main reasons why we are moving.

My parents decided to drive to Florida to 'see new places' so it's going to be a long trip, about 3 days. We drove through New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and finally Florida. When we got in the driveway, I could tell it would be a big house. The driveway was about a mile long and we could see the beach, so the house was along the coast.

I got out of the car and looked at the house. Hell, it was a mansion! I went into the door and could see all the windows, and there were a lot. I could see the ocean just from the front door, so I went to the back of the house and found a backdoor to the backyard. There was a pool, and a hot tub, and a patio, and an entrance to you guessed it, the beach.

So anyway, it's the first day of school, and I have no idea where anything is. I went to office and they gave me my schedule. I got to all my classes without anyone talking to me, that's better than someone bullying me, so I didn't pay much attention to it. I sat alone at lunch and was just looking at the comments on my recent vine videos. I noticed some of them were from my old school, so I turned off my phone. Since I finished I got up and went to throw out my food. I was standing around some tables and checked my phone, then all of a sudden a girl walked right into me.

"Watch it, Mendes." she said walking past me.
