I know Veronica told me not to skip music, but with what just happened I skipped anyway. I left school early and went to the house to clear my head. No one was home since my parents are working. I went to my room and sighed from everything that's happened today. I fell back on the bed and stared at the ceiling for a while. Until I was bored with my thoughts and opened the doors to the balcony. I walked out and gazed at the ocean, it was beautiful. So, I decided to go swimming. I put on my trunks and grabbed a towel, and headed down to the beach. I laid the towel down on the sand and threw my shirt on it. I didn't run into the water, but I took my time. When my feet reached the water it was cold, but not too cold. The water's very clear so I can see the small fish moving in the water. I dive into the water and am completely refreshed. I shot out of the water just for fun and stumbled on the sandy floor. I laid there floating on the water, just thinking when I heard someone.

"So why'd you leave me in the bathroom Mendes?" Said the voice, uh oh Veronica.

"I went to see if Liz was okay." I said turning around to face her.

"Why wouldn't she be okay?" She said confused. And then I realized, why wouldn't she be okay? It's not like I like her that much.

"I-I don't know." I said honestly.

"Just like you didn't know she was in our music class." She said and I nodded my head. How does she know all of these things?

"Are you not going in the water?" I asked her, she wasn't wearing a bathing suit.

"I'd rather not swim in shark infested areas." She said pointing to a sign behind her.

"Warning- Shark infested area, swim with caution." I said and she was chuckling, with that I ran out the water as fast as I could. When I looked up Veronica was laughing so hard her face turned red. She was even crying and my cheeks turned red from embarrassment.
