MITCH POV
Sitting in the waiting room, Gabby is crying with Bella consoling her. Jake is in his own world and Josh speaking with his parents on the phone. I can't help but think this is all my fault. I should have been by her side and protect her.
The doctor walks in and we all surround him.
She suffering from swelling in her face but she will be just fine.
*JOSH* "can we go see her".
"Sure".
We all rush into the room, I suddenly feel sick to my stomach seeing her bruised up body lying on the hospital bed her face swollen up, I can't help but let out tears and fall to the ground. I keep repeating it's all my fault. Josh walks to me and rubs my back.
*Josh* "Dude it's not your fault".
"Yes, it is I should have been by her I shouldn't have let her out my sight".
*Josh* "Neither should we have, but we were all too caught up in our own life's not paying attention to her. Don't blame yourself".

JESSICA POV
Hearing whispers around me I try and open my eyes but they are shut and will not open. Clearing my throat. The room goes silent and then I feel hands all over me.
"Hey baby. How you feeling"?
"MOM"?
"Why can't I see am I blind Oh no please fuck" I start hyperventilating.
"Calm Down Jess it's just swelling to your face. It should go down in a day or two".
"I am so sorry I should have been in my room studying or doing homework I shouldn't have come on this stupid trip I just want to go home mom please just take me home".
She strokes my hair little. "My sweet angel", she sobs.

(1 week later)
Waking up in my room. I walk into my bathroom looking at the girl in the mirror. Still have bruises all over. Blue, Purple, Yellow ugly ass bruises. I take a shower and put on makeup to cover up the marks.
Jake comes around every single day with chocolates and flowers and Junk food. Mitch on the other hand I haven't seen him since he was sucking on that bimbo face. I guess it really is over between the two of us. Damn I was dumb. Josh wants to give me boxing lessons LOL. Gabby is Gabby she hasn't left my side. Even sleeping over at my place daily but I think that's only to be closer to Josh.
Jamie has invited me to spend a week with her in Milan. Pretty emptied to spend time with her, ever since she started her modelling career we hardly get to see her like only 4 time out of the year.
*PING* (text message)
It's a message from Mitch.
MITCH: Hey Jessica. Uhm sorry for not coming to see you. I needed time to think and wrap my head around everything. HYD? Want to grab lunch and maybe a movie after let me know.
MITCH: P.S I can't seem to get you off my mind.
My heart drops. NO, he never once came to check up on me and now all of a sudden, he thinks he can just brag into my life and everything will be ok.
