It's now 5am and I haven't slept who knew break ups affect people this badly I thought I would be over it but I miss him and want to badly take him back but my heart can't endure anymore pain. I get up grab my sweatpants and hoodie walk downstairs grab a bottle of water. Placing my earphones in and I was off on an early run no-one in sight and it's still slightly dark. My mind is all over the place Mitch my 17th birthday my so-called look-a-like twin sister. My whole life is turning into one big lie.
I stop by a park and sit on the bench overlooking the lake so beautiful how the moon light reflects on the water tiny ripples moving across the birds chirping and then Justin Bieber Let Me Love you starts playing having flashbacks of the time Mitch sang it to me in the car his voice so sweet and yet so masculine. The sun is rising and it's so beautiful the orange and red skies shining bright I take a picture and send it to Mitch with the caption I WISH YOU WERE HERE.
I put my phone away and start running home.
Getting back home I take a quick shower and get ready for school.
*PING*
MITCH: I wish I was there too.
MITCH: and that's the truth.
I hold back a tear trying to escape making my way down the stairs I grab an Apple and wait for Josh to give me a ride to school.

Its Lunch time as I sit in my usual spot as I munch on my salad, the door of the cafeteria opens an in walks Mitch and his friends, our eyes meet for a brief second before I look away and continue eating my salad. I can feel him staring at me but I can't bring myself to look up. Gabby nudges me but I just ignore her.
*PING*
MITCH: can we talk?
MITCH: Please
MITCH: I want to tell you the truth and nothing but the truth.
I look up and nod my head. He stands up and walks out of the cafeteria I follow him. We stand outside he is not saying a single word.
"TALK", I say
"So, I uhm what I said in the locker room was true, you were a bet and I know it will be hard for you to trust me again or believe what I have to say, but I have fallen in love with you Jessica. My feelings I can't deny I was stupid to have blurted out what happened between us and it was all peer pressure the guys were making fun of me saying I was wiped and I just, it just came out and I am sorry. I am telling you this to get back together but can we start over as friends at least".
I give him a hug and whisper in his ears "FRIENDSSSSSSSSSSS". He hugs me tightly and then cups my face in his hands.
"You are one special girl and the guy that becomes your life time partner is one fucking lucky bastard, you one true gem Jess and I was stupid enough to throw you away like a piece of old fake diamond. I love you lots and I will always be here to protect you". Tears streaming down his face.
He lets me go and I walk away.
The rest of my classes went by quickly and before you knew it, it was time to go home. Gabby and Josh went for a check-up so I had no choice but to take the bus or walk home, I think walking would be great.

MITCH: need a ride?
I turn around to see Mitch in his car. Should I go with him? What the hell I get in the car.
