2. New waitress

I woke to the sound of my mom yelling at me. I checked my phone and it was only 8 in the morning.

Mom: "Wake up! Since we'll be staying here for awhile, I need you to go find a job." what?!? She wants me to find a job already? I hope we're not here for long.

Y/n: "It's only our second day here!" I shouted.

Mom: "Idc, I am not letting you sit on your ass all day doing nothing. Now get up" I swear she really likes to get of my nerves. I'll get up just to be away from her for the rest of the day.

I got up and stomped to the bathroom. Fixed myself up but this time I didn't wear any makeup. I was too lazy and rushed out the house.

I came across a restaurant and decided to go in and have breakfast. A handsome guy greeted me and sat me at a table.

???: "Hello, I am the manager of the restaurant. Please call me suho, or Jun-myeon." He smiled at me. "How may I take your order?" I told him my order and he went on his way. After about 10 mins suho came back with my food and I thanked him.

While I was eating I was thinking about my mom saying how she didn't want me to be on my ass all day. I guess that's true and I felt kinda lonely since I didn't have any friends here.

After I finished eating, I didn't exactly leave yet and just walked around the restaurant. It was a huge restaurant and they even had an arcade.

I was about to leave when I saw a "helped wanted" sign.

Suho's POV

Today was a very busy day. I was kind of hoping for someone to mention the help wanted sign but no one asked.

I was walking back to the kitchen when I saw the girl with long hair I had served food to about an hour ago. She was looking at the helped wanted sign.

I went up to her asked her if she wanted the job. I really needed another worker.

Me: "Hi-" she jumped and turned around quickly. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." She laughed.

???: "it's okay! I was just going to ask you about hiring me."

Me: "what's your name?"

???: "My name is y/n and I am 22 years old"

Me: "Nice to meet you, and 22 years old? You're hired!" I wanted to hire her as fast as possible since I really needed someone. She looked at me in a weird way.

Y/n: "Wow that was quick! When can I start?".... "today? .... right now?!?" I told her to start as soon as possible and she went into the kitchen

Me: "You'll be cooking, serving. Etc." take your time and don't feel pressured! Good luck.

You might be wondering why I'm hiring her so fast, well, it's because one of my workers and good friends, Mark Lee, is struggling with his love life right now, and I want to help him.

I think hiring y/n will be a good idea for Mark to forget about Wendy.

Y/n's POV

Wow I have never been hired so fast in life. I actually felt kinda weird that he had hired me so fast.

He didn't even ask me questions or asked to see my resume. It must be my lucky day. At least I thought it would be.

I was given work clothes which was a buttoned up black shirt and black slacks. I came out of the bathroom and bumped into someone, I fell on the ground.
