10. Cat fight

Hanbin's POV

After I asked y/n about that guy she's always with, I couldn't believe that the guy.. Youngsu... is her ex boyfriend!

I have to tell Donghyuk!

As I was waking back to my seat, I could see Mark staring at us. What's his problem?

Oh no, don't tell me he likes her too. Not only Mark but Dk! And she also has her ex boyfriend around! I wonder how this is all gonna play out.

I also saw Mino with an evil look on his face. What's he thinking?

Mino's POV

Before detention ended, I heard Hanbin and y/n talking. I was obviously mad.

I told her to stay away from him! She's gonna pay. I heard him ask y/n about that handsome guy she's always with.

I now know that the guy is in fact her ex- boyfriend. Although Mark was in detention too, which I thought was very odd, I don't think he heard their conversation.

I'm gonna tell him tomorrow at work and hopefully it breaks his heart. I know he likes y/n.

The next day

School ended and now it's time for work at that stupid restaurant. Working there is so freaking boring.

I'm gonna spice it up and tell Mark a huge lie about y/n and that guy.

Hopefully they come and eat at the restaurant today.

Me and that Nancy girl were cooking meals, when I noticed that Mark was staring at something.

OMG! It's y/n and that guy!

Me: "Mark, come here." I wave to him.

Mark: "What do you want?" He says in an annoyed way. I'm gonna lie my ass off.

Me: "Do you know who that guy is? Why is y/n always with him?" Hah, I'm so good at pretending.

Mark: "why do you care?" Sheesh, he's so rude.

Me: "I don't, it's just that, I heard he's using her.. like she's basically a prostitute. She's in great danger!" Hahahah

Mark: "WHY ARE YOU LYING!? I KNOW YOU'RE LYING, YOU BASTARD!" That's when he pushed me. I ended up falling on Nancy.

"Ouch! What the fuck Mino! Come here!" Nancy said.

"You bitch!" I said.

She began punching and scratching me. I then took her by the hair and dragged her out of the kitchen.

Everyone saw us.

They all saw what I did to Nancy. I ripped her hair and poured coffee on her. She shouldn't have put her nasty hands on me.

Y/n's POV

I had nothing to do after work. So I decided I would call Youngsu to hang out.

We chose to go eat at the restaurant. Me and Youngsu were waiting for our food to arrive.

Suddenly, I could hear yelling and heard loud banging coming from the kitchen. I think I heard Mark yelling.

Why would he yell? Then I saw Mino dragging Nancy out of the kitchen, what is going on?!?

I knew Mino was crazy, but not crazy enough to make a fool of himself in front of everyone!!

I was gonna get up to the break up the fight but Lucas beat me to them. I told Youngsu to wait for me while I go talk to Mark.

I searched everywhere and there was no sign of Mark, oh wait, the arcade! When I entered the arcade, I found Mark sitting at one of the race car seats and I sat next to him.

Me: "Hey Mark." He looked really sad.

Mark: "Y/n, who is that guy you're always with?" First Hanbin, now Mark? Do I really need to tell everyone my business?

Me: "Why? What was the fight abo-" He cut me off.

Mark: "Just answer me! Who is he?" Why did he raise his voice at me? Damn!

Me: "He's my ex boyfriend! For gods sake! Idk why you're making such a big deal! It's not like I have feelings for him! Sheesh." I stood up and was about to leave. But suddenly Mark back hugged me. There he goes again... why is he so touchy?

Mark: "Wait, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be all nosy, I just didn't want that guy to hurt you." Mark is being kind of weird, does he like me?

Whatever, I brushed it off and hugged him back. He blushed and looked down. "H- How's your arm?" We started walking back to the main restaurant.

Me: "I think I'm ready to take the sling off soon, thanks for asking." Awkward silence.

Mark: "I should get back to work." He scratched the back of his head while blushing. "See you" He went back to the kitchen.

I thought Mark was acting very peculiar. I just walked back to the table and sat down with Youngsu. He had a huge smile on his face.

"I think he likes you." My eyes went wide.

"W- why do you say that?" I said.

"He was blushing so hard! Look at the way he looks a you. And why wouldn't he like you? You're very cute!" He pinched my blushing cheeks.

"Shut up." I say while slapping his hands away. What if Mark actually likes me though? Noo.. both Mark and Donghyuk can't like me, it's impossible.

My thoughts were cut off when Youngsu grabbed my hands. His face looked serious.

"Y/n, I just wanted to make sure with you... that... you don't have feelings for me anymore right?" I choked on my food and he started patting my back.

"What's with the sudden question?"

"It's just that... my company doesn't allow dating.. and.. I don't want you to get the wrong idea."

"Oh nonono, I don't have feelings! .... do you?" Please don't say yes, please don't say yes.

"Well, if it weren't for the dating ban, I think I'd like you, but for now, let's just stay best friends?" He smiled.

"Of course." I smile back. I'm actually kind of glad that he'd rather be friends.

But his face looked sad when I said that. Why?
