24. You Got Me There

As we entered CEO's office, I saw Ikon's manager sitting next to the CEO's chair.

"Both of you sit in front of my desk." Said CEO.

We both sat down quietly, scared for our lives.

So many thoughts were in my head. Like "what if Donghyuk gets fired. It's my fault. How could I do this to Donghyuk?" And so on. Seriously though. If Donghyuk gets kicked out of YG, I will never forgive myself.

"Do you know why I brought the both of you in here today?" Said CEO while dk's manager looked at us.

"Yes, we-" Donghyuk cut me off.

"I'm so sorry for not telling you guys sooner." Donghyuk said while bowing. "I was afraid I was going to be kicked, please forgive us." He said again but while pulling my hand to motion me to bow.

After we both bowed we stood there nervously waiting for their response.

"Hahaha" Both CEO and manager laughed. They were slapping their legs.

"Why are you both so scared for? We already knew about you two. Ever since y/n came back to Korea, I knew right away you'd be interested in her. I was thinking of kicking you Donghyuk, to be honest, because you were lying to me and couldn't be a man, but then I realized that she is actually a really big help for you, mentally and physically with your dancing. Thank you for telling us the truth."
Ceo said while patting Donghyuk.

"Oh, haha that's a relief. You got me there." Donghyuk said while sitting down.

"Y/n, I just wanted to thank you for being by IKON's side, and for being great emotional support for Donghyuk. He really needs you and we're glad you two are happy." Manager said while smiling.

"Thank you so much." I said while bowing.

"Go on now." Ceo said.

We both walked out of his office and were in shock.
Wow, Donghyuk wasn't fired! I didn't ruin his life! I really thought we were gonna have to split up.

Donghyuk cut off my thoughts while waving his hand in front of my face.

"Hello? Y/n? Let's go home?" He said while laughing.

"O-oh yeah." I laughed back.

As we entered Donghyuk's dorm, Bobby came running up to us.

"Hey what happened? Are you guys ok? Dk please tell me you didn't get fired? Please pl-"

"Don't worry! I wasn't fired. They know now." Donghyuk said while calming Bobby down.

"Oh my god, that's a relief. I almost had a heart attack. I can't lose my best friends." Bobby said while putting his arm around us and messing up our hair.

"Hey welcome back losers." Said June.

"Where's Jay?" I asked.

"At the others' dorm." June replied while all of us sat down at the table getting ready to eat.

"What should we do for Song and Jay?" Asked Bobby.

"What do you mean? Why would we need to do something for them?" I asked. "Yeah why?" Said Donghyuk.

"What?! Did you guys seriously forget?" Bobby said while shouting.

"Calm down." June said. "Just tell them their birthday is on Thursday and Friday."

"You already did you idiot." Bobby said while slapping June's head.

"Hey how could you forget their birthday y/n?" Donghyuk said.

"What. You've known them for way longer than me you idiot." I said while pulling his ear.

"Yahhh I get it." Donghyuk said while holding his ear and pouting.

"Tch, you guys act like kids." June said while closing the fridge.

"Soooo, what are we doing for their birthday?!" Bobby shouted.

"Oh! I've got an idea!" I shouted.

"Whose got an idea?" Jay said while walking in.

"Uhhh.... no- nothing..." I said while blushing and walking away.

Everyone started cracking up.

I went to Donghyuk's room and laid on his bed.

A few minutes later Donghyuk came running into the room and jumped on the bed.

"Ouch!" I pretended to be hurt.

"Oh my god, did I hurt you? I'm so sorry! He said while checking my arm and kissing my forehead multiple times.

"I'm just messing with you!" I said while pulling on his nose.

"Hey!"

I began covering myself with his blanket and getting ready to go to sleep.

"Uhh you don't... want me to take you home? Do you want me to sleep on the couch? I could if you wa-"

I cut him off.

"Shut up and just sleep next you me you dummy." I said while laughing.

"Ohh haha uhh goodnight." Donghyuk said while sliding under the blanket nervously.

I saw that Donghyuk was keeping a gap between us, so I pretended I was asleep and slowly slid myself onto his chest.

At first he seemed nervous... but he soon wrapped his arms around me and eventually fell asleep too.
