17. Jeju Island

A few days later...
Mingyu's POV

"Okay class, in celebration of holiday break coming up in a few days... I'm taking you guys to Jeju Island!" Said Mr. Oh.

"Yay!" Said the whole class.

Haha, I hope my plan turns out good. I know boys and girls aren't supposed to share the same room, but I hope Mr. Oh puts y/n in the same dorm as me.

I looked at y/n to see if she was excited for the trip, she didn't look so happy.

"Mr. Oh, count me out, I don't think imma go." Said y/n.

Damn it.

"Are you sure? Everyone is going..." Mr. Oh said. Y/n just nodded her head.

"Okay then... this time you guys get to choose your roommates, of course no boys and girls in the same room, but you guys get to choose who you want in the same dorm!" Everyone started clapping and turned to talk to each other.

I saw Mr. Oh say something to y/n and they started pointing at Wonwoo. She began nodding her head.

"Oh yeah, one more thing, you are allowed to bring one guest on the trip, anyone you like. Also, let me establish some rules. No boys and girls allowed to share rooms, no alcohol or drugs, do not try anything silly, or I'll have to suspend you. Go to lunch now!" Oh said.

I saw y/n speak to Wonwoo as they walked out to get lunch.

Y/n's POV

To be honest I wasn't that happy about the trip to Jeju Island. I just wanna spend the break at home or just doing chill, relaxing things.

As it was time for lunch, Mr. Oh told me that a student needed tutoring before we went on break. He told me it was Wonwoo. He seems like whatever... I never really knew him but I know that he's friends with Mingyu.

I walked out to lunch with him and told him that he needed tutoring.

"Hey, Mr. Oh-" He cut me off.
"Yeah I need tutoring, can we do it as we eat though? I'm starving." He said.
"Uhh sure."

We got our lunches and I was walking to an empty table but Wonwoo sat with his friends and gestured me to come with them.

I kind of just stood there hesitated but decided that I needed to get it over with.

I sat between Jeonghan and Wonwoo. Across from me was Jun, Vernon, and Mingyu.

I sat there eating in awkward silence for a few minutes.

I would glance up from time to time to see Mingyu glaring at me.

I saw Mingyu whisper back and forth with Jun and Vernon.

I began tutoring Wonwoo for about 5 mins when suddenly Vernon asked something.

"Soo... y/n, I heard you aren't going on the Jeju trip... why not?"

"Umm... I don't know, I just want to take a break and relax." The guys at the table turned their heads to look at me.

"You should go! It will be fun! I've seen you work hard here at school and at the restaurant, you should spend your break on an island with everyone." Jun said with a smile.

"I don't know..." I said.

"Please." He said while giving puppy eyes. "We want our favorite tutor to take a break! And since it's on short notice, you can stay in our dorm, if that's fine with you."

Some of the guys at the table shouted and said "yeah!"

"Umm .... okay." I said while smiling.

The guys clapped.

"Okay so back to-" I was cut off by the bell. "Sorry we couldn't get that much done Wonwoo." I said.

"Thank you." He said with his awkward face.

We got up and went on with our day.

After school at the restaurant

"Y/n! Can you pass me the tray!" Mark said.

"Okay!" Today was a busy day at work since the holiday is coming up. More and more people were coming in, it was jam packed!

I was in the middle of washing the dishes when someone tapped on my shoulder...

"Y/n, take a break, someone's waiting for you at table 16." Said suho.

"Oh, okay." I took my apron off and walked out the kitchen to see who it was.

It's Youngsu!

I ran over to his table and he stood up so we could hug.

"Hi! Long time no see!" I said.

"Yeah! I missed you." He was still hugging me tightly.

"Ok you can let go now." I said while laughing.

"Oh haha I'm sorry, I just haven't seen you in forever." He said while pinching my cheeks.

We had dinner and caught up with each other and remembered that I have a Jeju trip coming up soon.

I decided that I would ask him to join me on the trip... I mean I guess it isn't weird right? So what if we're exes, I see him as my best friend now.

"Oh yeah, Youngsu, my class is having a trip to Jeju Island, and we're allowed to bring a guest. Would you-" Youngsu cut me off.

"Yes I'd love to come!!" He said while jumping up and down. Haha he's so cute.

"Woahh calm down. Is your manager okay with this?"

"Don't worry, I told him about you already, I have my ways." He said. Hmm... he's told him about me? I wonder why.
